I am only referring to their parking cases
Sorry but i think your inflating this to something it isnt
Yes its great for the people involved.
However what tiny % is this of cases issued.
    We should be realistic.

We see what we see ,,,,, There is no inflating this to something it isnt

It is what it is ...  NUMBER 78 that we know about.  . It is DCBL that provide us with facts

Do you know how many they discontinue outside this forum ?

Yes, but how many people go to court unprepared or don't even attend until they get a CCJ against them because of DCBL tactics - is there any way we can get FOI from the courts to find out what % of cases the 78 represents?

FOIs to the MoJ have been tried in the past, to no avail.

I'd anticipate that private parking charge court wins (default, in court, or frightened payers) for DCB Legal will run at 10x the number of discontinuations. There is no way that any business would allow failures to exceed successes. A very profitable (but morally bankrupt) business model.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Me too.  0.01% is more like it.

Quarterly court stats from the MoJ don't separate parking cases but I seem to recall when I browsed those stats, that most small claims go undefended - this is why the likes of DCB Legal do it.

Default CCJs are in their interests.  We've also seen them pass CCJs straight to DCB Ltd (HCEOS if over £600) and add £200 well within the first 30 days, despite the fact the first bailiff fee is meant to be capped at £75.  e.g. see what happened to SoJacob with her case.

Do discontinuing a truly tiny percentage of cases is nothing to DCB Group.

So sad DCBL waste their time thinking  that a UKPC claim IS genuine

I thought I would add my discontinuation from Highview Parking. I received confirmation today from DCB Legal that their client is no longer trying to scam me out of money I never owed them.
    Congrats!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Loving the fact you did that without needing to start a thread, and hope we helped you - and that you know about the upcoming Public Consultation by the Government and will be ready to respond in the New Year when it is anticipated it will open...

...this will be your only chance to change the law, so that this toxic 'enforcement & litigation' model is confined to history.

Hi, I did get advice from PepiPoo who referred me to you guys when I needed the Newbie thread so I am grateful to you and all who offered their advice. Now I hope I can help others beat these scammers.
