Excel still pushing their luck with the 5/10 minute rule, then DCB Legal started this Claim the week after they were told to stop ripping drivers off for not paying within 10 minutes. This isn't the last one either, they are working their way through their old back log and will no doubt discontinue those too. I'll be back!636

Another N279 from Facebook land, this time from a group dedicated to fighting Excel and VCS.
The PCN was issued for not paying quickly enough on arrival at Feethams Leisure Car Park. Parking was fully paid for 24 hours (more than the hours required for the stay) but was outside of the 5 minute window due to the ticket machines not working and lack of phone service in the car park. Not sure on the date of parking but assume it was prior to the Code of Practice change.
The Defendant did consult this forum for a Defence and with the help of one of the other Facebook group admins saw off this hopeless case!
