As far as I can tell nothing updated with billing yet.Majic said:
Great newsyapstar said:Was on the SVT with them and just called and asked if I could start the V18 on October 1st as this is the date I've seen on forums being offered. He said he would check and then just processed it. So all done with email confirmation and details reflected in online account. Guy was really nice.
Are your DD's increasing from 01/10 or earlier?1 -

I have just called Eon Next and had my start date amended to 1st October, result
. I did query if my DD would be taken at the higher amount from 1st October, he had to amend something and so now DD from 1st October £112 just for electric
and my electric is pretty similiar each month so that's fairly accurate. I will revert to variable monthly full amonut once the first budget DD has been taken. On V19 I'd have to pay £160 each month to cover my usage, that's £48 more than V18, scary times indeed. EDITED as I made a mistake referring to "online" version 19 when it was the DD version.

That v19 tariff is the new 1 Year fix, which is the expensive one. Not the same as the Next Online series which is still on v18, although probably not for much longer.0

Oops, sorry, made a mistake, have edited my post. As you say, they have alreasy removed V18 DD version so I imagine the online version will get pulled very soon.

I don't quite understand the point of the Next 1 Year series to be honest. As Next Online is available to all existing customers and is significantly cheaper, and they say they aren't taking on new customers, who is the more expensive Next 1 Year tariff aimed at?0

Ones that have no idea about calculating the best deal? I don't see the point of the two different ones being offered to me in my online account. But maybe it's for people who do not operate their account online? i.e. if they get paper bills and do everything over the phone?

Yes, now that you mention it, the Next Online series is what the name implies - online only. There is no 'pay on receipt of bill' alternative.Northern_Wanderer said:spot1034 said:I don't quite understand the point of the Next 1 Year series to be honest. Just checked my EoN online account and v18 fix still being offered.
Quoted estimate £798/yr vs £480/yr currently on the cap rate, however for Eco7 the unit price jump for night usage seems high - 17p with the cap to 42p.
Significantly more of my usage during the winter months will be at night with storage heaters in my flat and an immersion water tank. Is £798/yr on the fixed rate somewhat of an underestimate?0 -
Do you think they would delay till febuary
I'm on a fix till febuary at 27p Kwh. Absoulutely dreading what we'l pay when that ends.

Those Eon Next customers that (for various reasons) do not manage their energy account online.spot1034 said:I don't quite understand the point of the Next 1 Year series to be honest.
