Hi Guys....
1st of all thank you all for allll your suggestions. i just picked the one where i will put a fake switch (not connected), coz if i fix a proper switch then again i will need to know how to install that. hahahah....for find a dummy front of the switches,
2. Connect the 2 brown wires together with a waga connector..or try and tape them up....right ?
3. Leave the yellow & the 2 blue wires alone and leave 1 brown wire to the left in the photo alone and just tape it up.
4.leave the Blue wires how they are ?....correct ?
This is what i intend to do. Hope everything is correct and jolly good ???...all good.
I thank you all so so much for all the effort you guys took in searches and letting me know.
I thank you and kind regards....oh yessss !!!!!!!!.................................................................................................................................................................................................B E S A F E !!!!!! !!!!!

I’m concerned that, after detailed instructions, the op got it so wrong. He should get an electrician in. It cannot be safe for him to attempt this.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?2

And why on earth a "a fake switch (not connected)" when cheap and nice blanking plates are available?1

AKHmmm, you clearly haven't a clue about what these wires do. So please don't Wago or screw-terminal or tape anything. If you must do this yourself, then please only go for FB's suggestion of the key-switch.It is the best solution. I prevents folk from turning the light on and off themselves. It provides for an override should the remote control fail. It doesn't require you to remove that faceplate and mess with anything again should you want a temporary override. And it's a straight swap for the switch you already have - you move the wires in the current two terminals into two similar terminals on the new switch. So, if you MUST DIY this, then please go for the obvious solution.BEFORE YOU UNDO ANY WIRES, YOU MUST MUST MUST QUADRUPLE-MUST LABEL THE EXISTING BROWN WIRES SO YOU DON'T MIX THEM UP. It shouldn't cause a 'bang' if you get it wrong, but you WILL feel very foolish, and for good reason. The TWO brown wires that currently share a terminal, must continue to do so. These are LIVE whenever the power is on at the CU. You MUST be able to keep track of these two once you unscrew them all. You must. They go in COM or whatever is labelled on the new switch. Then there's the SINGLE brown wire in the OTHER terminal. That brown heads off to your light fitting, so needs to go in the OTHER terminal in the new light switch (we will guide you once you buy it).Do NOT touch the blues. The earth wire will go to the new switch IF it has a terminal for it, but chances are it won't. We'll sort that too, when we know. So, if you ARE going to DIY this, then please buy the key switch, and come back on here with it - and show us your behind. Of the new switch.1 -
JUST IN THE LAST TIME 3 TIMES MY FLAT LIGHTS HAVE TRIPPED....MEANS THE SWITCH FROM the main board turned itself off...i know i was messing about with it......so..i am back to the basic...
please tell me how do i put a key operated switch like the photo someone put on here from tooltation. ????? cheers...i did nothing with a dimmable switch the alexa dont agree with the or vice versa...but from time to time the bulbs would come on and dim themselves and brighten again and this goes on all day.........0 -
If we asked you to fit a NORMAL light switch, would you be able to? Would you get it right?0

If 'yes', then the key switch is EXACTLY the same. Exactly.
If 'no', then get a sparky in.1 -
