I tried but failed. My second attempt was with a new (different) account but no dice.

So at the end of the day you have two separate internet bankings logging credential. To be read between the lines: I know Santander, Nationwide, Halifax, TSB is not Good in spotting offenders.
I had never been a Santander customer when I applied for the 123 Lite account which was approved and opened. I was then informed my login details were the ones I had used for my Alliance and Leicester account, an account I had closed years earlier.
This would suggest they use far more than just login credentials to know who you are and merge accounts.0 -
My switch completed yesterday, or so I was informed by e-mail.
I can't check anything until they send me some log on information, I can't register/access online or through their app.until I receive a password etc..During the switching period they provided no information on it's progress. The only progress reports I received were from the "losing" bank.At least I received my debit card in a timely manner and another information letter.I am unwilling to use the debit card or deposit funds until I can access the account.I will probably need to phone them because when trying to register for online it produces a message "you are already registered for online banking", really?
It was only £51 allegedly transferred.

How long do Santander usually run their offers for? I want to do the Halifax one before I jump on this one0

Can anyone confirm that it actually does take the 60 days and then the further 30 days before receiving the incentive from past switches with the same timeframe?
Also does it effect the switch incentive if you upgrade the account from a Everyday to the 123 Lite before the 60 days?0 -
Couldn't do the switch to my new everyday account as no debit card on the BOS account. On line chat said the only way was to go into branch by appointment. Too much hassle so closed the new account.

However, when taking into account the monthly fee of £5 and £2 respectively, then completing the monthly outgoing figures for those listed, decided against it. For the 123 Lite I could receive a massive £1.77/month after the £2 was deducted!

Just request a debit card from BOS? They usually send them within a week. If Santander withdraw the offer whilst you are waiting for the card, at least you have it for the next offer....molerat said:Couldn't do the switch to my new everyday account as no debit card on the BOS account.
