Can anyone clarify if you can switch donor account A to one bank that needs the DD, get the bonus, then move the DD to another donor account to switch that?
I can't see any terms that say you must switch 2 DD and retain them rather than just having for the transfer0 -
You are correct. Once the incentive payment has been paid you are no longer required to maintain any DDs to keep the bonus (ie. it cannot be reclaimed for cancelling your DDs). There might be ongoing DD requirements to maintain the account depending on account type, but that is completely separate from the switch incentive.Deleted_User said:Can anyone clarify if you can switch donor account A to one bank that needs the DD, get the bonus, then move the DD to another donor account to switch that?

When I log in and click on my Everyday current account, there's a "Product name" below it, which says EVERYDAY CURRENT ACCOUNT SWITCHER. Perhaps the "switcher" makes it more obvious that I've already switched to them earlier?I wonder what happens if you change your account type to 1-2-3 Lite (and then back again)?I can see the 'Switcher' note on my 1-2-3 Lite too0 -
No, because I gave up waiting for them to answer!1

Can anyone tell me if switching a current account affects a savings account. Got both with the current bank so would I be able to switch current and leave savings in the old bank?0
-
Only the current account will be switched, so the savings account will remain with the old bank. Just be aware however that some savings accounts will only let you make deposits from the current account you hold with that bank, so it may cause issues with deposits/withdrawals from the account. Just check the T&Cs of the savings account to see if that is the case.Newman2 said:Can anyone tell me if switching a current account affects a savings account. The clue is in the name - Current Account Switch Service. Only the specific current account you nominate will be switched to your new bank. Any savings, credit cards, etc will be left alone.Newman2 said:Can anyone tell me if switching a current account affects a savings account. That said, there may be implications if your savings account requires a linked current account with your old bank in order to function. You'll need to check the T&Cs of your savings account to know for sure.0
