Santander doubling energy cashback for 2 months

Changed EON DD to £250 (from £65) but it then showed this will be effective from 25th November rather than this month so no point.Tried changing it back but it wouldn't let me go below about £119 (as it cannot be reduced by more than 10% of forecast but forecast ignores the £66 government reduction).Currently trying to phone EON but not managing to get through.0

As my next Santander cashback is not due until early November, I won't know until then whether Santander will work out the net amount for cashback purposes.I have never known for payments from utilities to reduce the amount of cashback payable. Should only be the Direct Debit amount which is considered.0

Not neccessarily, Santander don't use calendar months annoyingly. In my case my Santander month runs 8th-7th-ish and my energy DD is paid around the 1st-3rd, so the 'September' month included my October 3rd £250 DD.

Can’t complain at £10 cashback just for paying a couple of DD.
Going forward £5 not bad either especially as my energy suppliers have hiked my DDs to over £250 per month now 😭0 -

I think cashback applies to DD’s in that statement period. In my case that included October.
(my original post should, of course, have referred to “Santander”.)0
