I think I've got this right...

All my qualifying DDs go out on the first of the month, my Statement date is 13th.   Today I've received my usual cashback, with Energy @ 2%

I'll get double cashback for my 1st October DD, paid on 13th October, and same again in November?
That is what I would expect although I think the DDs would go out on Mon 3rd Oct.

My statement date is the 10th and my electricity DD is the first working day of the month. I will post on the 10th Oct to advise if my double cashback has arrived.

I hadn't checked the calendar to see how the 1st fell 😉, but yes.
That's one benefit of my cashflow forecast spreadsheet.

As noted Eonnext have been reducing DDs in some cases. So check your energy account

Yes, I increased mine to £250 and they took £183 so my cashback today was only £7.32.

I knew in advance from my E.ON Next online account but couldn’t change it for a second time. I have changed it for November so will see if it works then. £66 has also been credited to my E.ON account.

Finally I have noticed that Santander have credited all my cashback today but have not yet taken my £2.00 monthly fee.

I increased my DD to £315, Octopus reduced it to £248, so £9.92 for me on 13th. I'm not greedy ;)

I had allowed for the government payment. I received the £10 on 14th. I would not say I am greedy. I will wait and see if Santander`s benevolence extends beyond the 2 months. If not my DD will drop accordingly!

Seems like EON decided to take my old DD payment rather than the revised one and now I've only got £3.50 cashback :(
Ah well, hopefully this month will be better!

Shell Energy didn't reduce my DD, so I should get double cashback on £170 this month. I've since been able to increase the DD for next month so my cashback shouldn't be too badly affected by the £66 rebate.

Ovo are taking my usual DD (enough for £10 cashback), and have separately paid £66 into my 123 Lite account. As my next Santander cashback is not due until early November, I won't know until then whether Santander will work out the net amount for cashback purposes.

I have never known for payments from utilities to reduce the amount of cashback payable. Should only be the Direct Debit amount which is considered.

Changed EON DD to £250 (from £65) but it then showed this will be effective from 25th November rather than this month so no point.

Tried changing it back but it wouldn't let me go below about £119 (as it cannot be reduced by more than 10% of forecast but forecast ignores the £66 government reduction).

Currently trying to phone EON but not managing to get through.
