@Toni’sfriend wrapping YS veg in the tea towel rag and putting it in a closed tub in the fridge worked really well. The YS mixed salad lasted an extra three days. I was able to eat the majority of it. I did the same with YS spring onion. 🙂

OH ruined my NSD yesterday by nipping to the shop for something different for dinner. Grrr. As well as YS items not counting as a spend, can we add OH items? 😂Powered through my work yesterday so I could spend some time decluttering. I now have two big bags to drop at the charity shop later today. Why does decluttering feel so good?!I also shaved a sweater. I saw a ‘life hack’ video where someone shaved bobbles off their clothes. It worked ok but is there a better way, turtles?Today I’m being kind to myself by taking up my friend’s invite to a spa day. Her OH got her a voucher for her birthday. She invited me to join her so I got the same voucher from Mum for my birthday.Have a good day, turtles. xx

Glad the tea towel thing worked, Idee. If you ever have too many spring onions chop them up and freeze them. The don't work in salads that way but are fine to add to chicken and rice or chicken noodle soup.
Walked to Aldi yesterday because Himself needed milk but I also got some reduced sea bass (tonight's dinner) and lots of packets of reduced tomatoes. They are still perfectly firm and will last for ages. If they start to get a bit squdgy I'll make a sauce with them. There were no reduced cakes or puddings but he did still manage to sneak some chocolate into the trolly.
So I tidied out some drawers in the spare room (ie tip!) and found another few thing to dispose of. But I also found a big box which contained a lot of nearly new bedding. I think I must have bought it for the Boy at some time in the past (which is why it's still almost new). It goes perfectly with the decor in our bedroom so it's now all washed and dried and will be ready for use when ironed. Inspired by my find I went through the bedding box and got rid of all the old tatty stuff. Don't why I was keeping most of that. I was never going to use it. The bin men have just been and taken it all away. Who knows what treasures I will find in all the other boxes that are in there.
So better get off and do some mundane housework.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.11 -

Evening Turtles. No NSD today as Mr T delivered my shopping and it was within budget for the week. May have to go myself though as Mr Nobody has drunk OH’s beer that was innocently sitting in the fridge waiting for the weekend. The same person used the last 3 eggs that I was saving for tonight’s egg fried rice and the rest of the chicken that was going in a soup for tomorrow. May have to go back to writing ‘do not touch’ on everything!
Naughty kitten bought 2 friends back with him earlier. The 2 friends did not like each other and had to be ejected from the garden.
Did not feel as tired today so hopefully whatever that was is getting better. Although it is still 20 degrees here as I write.
Today I am grateful for feeling a bit better, the Commonwealth games which I am loving and it being Friday tomorrow, yay!

No moneymaking or spending today.
One item added to CS bag. 1 pair of shoes which are torn up inside and rub my heels as a result into bin.
Thankful for dry weather to get 2 loads on the line, for there being lots of ducks on the canal when we went for a walk, for people eating random things to use stuff up before we go away.I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £2010 -
NSD 2Had a lovely time at the spa with friend today. It included a couple of treatments and an afternoon tea. All the relaxation must’ve made me hungry because I ate every morsel. Healthy eating out the window this afternoon.Dropped off two filled bags at the CS. Will continue with the declutter tomorrow.Grateful today for time with my friend, good chat, and for a library book I had on request becoming available - I’ll start it tomorrow.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7

Hello Turtles! I am already on NSD#3 And negative Covid day 1! Just got to pass the test tomorrow and I'm free!
Had the grocery delivery on Tuesday. Lovely people threw in a free iced biscuit footballer homunculus! Quite a successful shop, will probably do that again.
On my own for a couple of days, so taking advantage to switch things off round the house again... I'm planning a weekend of reading, prepping for the next work jolly and finding time to eat the biscuit person!Keep reading books!

Thought it was Friday all day 🤨
- Anyway, spent time outside walking from car park-work-car park. Also sat outside to have a cuppa after work.
- Kind act from me was dropping delivery off for parents and offering to take works banking to the bank.
- Being kind to myself was organising my work and ensured I was productive. Also ignored my drawer full of chocolate treats.
- Stressy situation hopefully now resolved. DS played footy with his friends and kicked his friends ball onto a roof yesterday by accident! DH asked permission today to go on roof to retrieve it but wasn’t there! DS has bought one from his own money to replace. Don’t understand where the ball went but hopefully we’ve done the right thing. A few weeks ago a different friend kicked ds ball into a field and just laughed!!- No possessions reduced today.
- Too much screen time today. Will be glad when the football is back in this weekend although I am enjoying the commonwealth games. DH has joined a fantasy football game but think me & ds will enjoy it more.
- Had a shandy today so alcohol free days remains at 3/31. Made a hearty lasagne for tea. Not great really. Enthusiasm for diet has quickly evaporated I usually stick at it at least 2 weeks but this time I’ve lost interest at day 10!
- Only spent today was the weekly grocery shop but think that costs me a nsd.

Evening turtles
Busy day at work yesterday but managed to finish in time to meet DD2 from the station. DDs went to see their dad & i went to my friends for tea. Had a lovely eve with delicious food and good conversation.
Today had a slow day at work but finished early to have my hair cut. Then went to pilates, couldn't do all the moves as my back is still sore but felt good for moving my body.
Have done a food shop and bought a blanket for my bed ready for winter.
Dropped off 2 carrier bags at the CS.
Gratitudes - DD2 being home; good friends; Commonwealth Games on TV
