I switched to V6 on the 28th and straight away got my confirmation email saying about the switch, but since then, nothing else. Should I be getting worried/chasing it up as it has been 12 days and nothing heard?“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I signed up on the 28th too. After the initial immediate confirmation emails I had an email from them on Wednesday (3/8) confirming the switch date of 11/8.davemorton said:I switched to V6 on the 28th and straight away got my confirmation email saying about the switch, but since then, nothing else. Wednesday's email also contained details on how to set up an account on their website after the switch is complete (seems to work already even though switch isn't complete)

From what I can tell GEUK don't bombarded you with useless email after email about the switch but if you want more info you call them and they pickup very fast.
Hope that helps.2 -
those who have switched and got meter ID set up on online account how long after switch did it take for it meter information to appear on your account?

for electricity from BG probably~3-4 days (not sure as I wasn't checking every day).
Gas took ~ 1 week because EDF apparently wouldn't initially accept the opening reading that I gave to Green UK.0 -

The readings given to the new supplier are independently industry-validated before being passed to both suppliers by a data flow to open and close your accounts. Provided the validated readings are within the prescribed variances both suppliers have to accept them. Problems can occur if you have been billed previously on estimates. If the agreed readings are outside the prescribed variances, either supplier can raise an Agreed Readings Dispute.BUFF said:for electricity from BG probably~3-4 days (not sure as I wasn't checking every day).

From the Regulations:Where the difference between the Energy Supplier’s view of consumption and that derived from the initial Switch Meter Reading is 1,200 kWh or less for a gas RMP or 250 kWh (250 units) or less for an electricity RMP, then the Energy Supplier shall not dispute the Switch Meter Reading unless the Consumer specifically requests a new Switch Meter Reading, but should instead attempt to resolve the dispute with an accommodation e.g. cash allowance to the Consumer, thus retaining the initial proposed Switch Meter Reading. No further action is then required.(b) Where the Consumer is unwilling to accept an accommodation, or the difference between the Energy Supplier’s view of consumption and that derived from the Switch Meter Reading is more than 1,200 kWh for a gas RMP or 250 kWh (250 units) for an electricity RMP, then the Supplier should initiate a dispute.
The above process is necessary as some consumers do not provide a switch reading; some consumers mis-read their meters, and some will lie if it is to their financial advantage. I suspect that the latter is increasing along with energy theft.0 -
That is as maybe but I have always provided monthly readings & at this time of year my gas usage is in single digits (typically under 30kWh/month) which they would be able to see from previous months readings falling off a cliff as heating demand reduced & then stopped.Dolor said:

Given that I was on SVT with EDF they must have been quiblling over <£2.40 - it will probably have cost them more in administration costs to argue (about a correct figure)!
If I was going to fiddle the figures I would have inflated my opening read to Green as their gas charge on fix is higher than the current SVT.0 -
But with it being monthly billing, you would not be able to inflate it very much. I still have not heard anything, been 13 days now.BUFF said:
