kazwookie - no air con in our offices. The window only opens a couple of inches..... to stop us climbing out, or is it to stop burglars climbing in? 🤔 We leave the door to the corridor open, and the fire door at the end of the corridor is propped open (by others not by me 😇)  to catch any random breeze. And I bought a little fan which plugs into the PC and is a life saver. 

Been to posh farm shop cafe for coffee with L. Now watching Commonwealth Games. 

I changed the towels in the bathroom and sploshed bleach down the loo.

Pixie deposited at dance with money for McD's .. a milkshake and a million nuggets.. she doesn't eat anything else.. we are getting ice cream on the way home after her show.. we promised her.

Tesc0 purchased.. £357 anyone?? That does include a bunch of uniform for Squeak, Pixie and Dot.. and a couple of weeks of food.. I hope a couple of weeks!!!! and a LOT of snacky pack up stuff because my children are locusts.

Narco.. DS1 had plague at Christmas and then again the first week of February.. and he was really ill both times.. and both times confirmed with PCR.. he is just a plague rat and had it about 5 times, but it isn't unheard of. I'm glad he is feeling better though.

My ankle is killing, it is strapped up to reduce the risk of further injury but I don't even know what is wrong with it in the first place.

Evening all.
I am just sitting down after a busy day looking after DGD1.  She's just gone to bed and normally sleeps right through although tonight she's in a separate bedroom to us for the first time.  She's being picked up late tomorrow morning.
So flying is just the basics and tomorrow afternoon I intend to relax and watch the football.

We popped out first thing to look for a present for DS2’ birthday. He is soon not to be a teenager. Sadly nothing found. A few things purchased from bee&ems including much needed dish drainer. I really want a white one as the chrome ones keep going rusty.

DH mentioned we had turned into my parents by filling up the spare room with stuff. Most of it actually from my Mum’s house, so today I have shredded 4 more bags of paperwork and have emptied my show bags and rehired the contents. I still have more shredding to do but I suspect the shredder is dying.

Moomin went off to work and CF has got wind of where she is working and turned up and was asking the other girls where she was and tried to talking to her so she's had a panic attank and cried and been sick.. Her manager moved her elsewhere and I've told her she must get a taxi home (in case he is waiting) and to ring us to pick her up if she can't. I also said if he turns up at the place she has been moved to she must tell the manager and ring the police... POS that he is.. I am furious.. the incident is being reported to the police tomorrow when she is awake.

Pixie was fabulous in her show and clearly loved every second. We then tootled off to McDs for ice cream.. nom!!

dancemum, your DS2 was just a little boy when I first joined this group!

Over the past couple of days I have
- finished the big admin job
- made a good start on the next thing
- kept the house clean and tidy as tidy as possible now that DH is back
- kept Rosie fed (even if her food didn't appear until 10.00 last night - oops!), walked and watered
- remembered my appointment with the chiropodist and got there on time
- done a top-up shop
- picked a few more beans
- rejoiced at the drizzle.

Oh yes, and this morning I have transformed two large cardboard boxes that were cluttering up the shed into barns, for Sunday School!

I'm up. Made my bed. WM has just finished swishing- which means that I've been messing about on my phone for nearly an hour. 😳 I've created a new profile on Facebook as even DS couldn't reactivate the old one. Hmmm must restrict my watching of kitchen hacks...I don't cook for a start! If anyone would like to be my friend please send a request. 😊.

piggers - sorry to hear that CF is meddling again. When we were driving home from your house last month I mentioned to DS that I couldn't work out what CF stood for. He stated the obvious straightaway and I was like ohhhh yeah. Of course. 🤦‍♀️. But I still think my best guess was appropriate- ClusterF**k. Just shows what a twisted mind I have. 🤫

'see you next tuesday- face' .. or for those with delicate sensibilities i.e. m-i-l.. 'Childrens father'.. I do NOT have delicate sensibilities lol.. your guess is quite appropriate too given the inability to keep it in his pants.

He left her alone after she was moved to another venue but we will be logging it with the police when she surfaces.. she got home at 7am. having worked Pride from 10:30-4:30, then nightclubs/bars from 9-6. .. £15 an hour for the 6 hours at Pride though as it was overtime. I am considering going to the bar with her next week and waiting for CF to turn up (she has surgery on Thursday so won't be working anyway so her job wouldn't be at risk).. I would ring the police the second it turned up and have it barred.. It is all part of the narcissist power trip, intimidation and minds games to make a 19 year old feel unsafe.

Up dressed and waiting for my sister to call. speaking of abusive exes.. we are taking her CF's (not childrens father as she has none) stuff round to his parents. He is on bail with a non-contact order in place so she isn't allowed to pick itup himself and we want to keep her away from him. My mother is unable to keep her mouth shut and or car will fit everything in.. My sister is lovely but absolutely terrible as finding decent men! She has had several horrible abusive ones and she deserves someone lovely. If anyone has any lovely sons or brothers about 40 who need a lovely lady and love cats and dogs she's their gal! lol

Cases out for packing. I will start with Twinkle. she had a lot of new tshirts, shorts and leggings I will just throw the lot in her bag .. done! Mine is always hardest.. I can never decide what to take so pack it all.

OH loaded the DW and is playing Catan (board game) with the girls.. I have a cuppa and breakfast crisps.
