BREAKING: The financial system0

Fact is, the UK economy is on track to grow a healthy 3-4% in 2022. Everyone who wants one has a job. Wages are rising nicely. But that's not a narrative people want to hear. They want the EastEnders shouty drama buzz.0 -

Chancellors and PMs don't resign for no reason, our leaders have taken the easy way out and now we are paying the price.0 -

We haven't begun to pay the price. Nothing has happened yet.0 -

I'm as ready as I can reasonably be.
The only concern I have is the money which will remain in the system. Eg, the cash in my S&S account and the stocks that I own. I'm hoping those don't disappear. But other than that, I'm done prepping.0 -
GDP growth will slow to nothing, or next to nothing in 2023....... unemployment is forecast to rise in 2023......inflation is approaching double figures (already there with RPI), energy prices have just risen another c25% (on top of the >50%rise in April), despite government intervention (welcome intervention btw), equity and bond markets are well down, interest rates are rising fast.........few are saying this is all the Tory party's fault, but then along comes the new government, and well you know the rest. Trying to look on the bright side is one thing, but sticking your head in the sand and saying everything's fine, well I don't believe many people are buying that line at the moment. It may not be the end of things as we know them (unless a certain war escalates out of control - though let's not go there).....but the economic outlook is far from rosy atm.1

Please don't leave home without donning a full biohazard protection suit.2
