thanks Kc and Skinty, totally need to plug the holes, so it's great to find them.
Home from work, cooking food just now before chilling on the couch, nothing else to report, apart from ...I sent an email enquiring about how much it would cost be to take my pension 3 years early thanks to @FarmGirl78 .... will see what the results are before deciding

Lunch was ok, came to £10 which is £10 that wasnt budgeted for but less than the £30 I expected it to be.

I will be, going to visit a puppy on the saturday once I'm awake so that will be fun as well ... Wonder if I will be visiting any kittens soon4

Well done on keeping the meal cost down.
Visiting puppies or kittens can be dangerous... very much so to budgets... bewareAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thankfully the puppies and kittens will not be mine, when i say thankfully I mean my money thanks me.
We had a cat years ago whom we loved very much and i often miss having a cat around, when the cat died it broke Mr Els heart, he cried about him often until i would say until about 10 or so years ago ( cat sadly died about 16 years ago, Mr El asked then that we dont get any more pets, so we have a pet free household, which given our lifestyles is probably for the best.
Doesnt stop me visiting friends that have them though. A certain skinty has the worlds funniest cat, that has the best facial expressions, and she likes sitting on my lap so I'm good with that. Skinty I wasnt going to give your secret away
Another friend of mine picks up her new puppy today so I've been invited up to let her tomorrow, nice way to have a gentle day I reckon
I currently seem to have a family of spiders in my bath, that enough pets for me just now.
Have a braw day everyone
More pennies saved from shopping towards adventure budgets, might have enough for an ice cream soon5 -
Yeah, I have a family of spiders trying to take up residence on the ceiling of my hallway - I'm discouraging them with the vacuum cleaner, which is then emptied on the rec ground.2023: the year I get to buy a car3

My DD was visited by a huge spider last night which she accused me of letting in - given that she has netting at her windows...
I have a cat which is expensive enough. I miss my dog - but glad not to have the expense. I can understand going pet free after a loss. Enjoy visiting those of others.
I hope your adventuring budget tops up soon. Personally I'd carve a hundred off the pension £ and use it to make life more fun now.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
