Well shift done, whilst I was worrying about the heavy ppe I forgot the other ppe we need to wear in that area as well, very light but OMG talk about hot, imagine having to wear a hazmat suit, it's not a hazmat suit it's something different but it's about the best I can describe it as without giving away information that would very easily identify me.
Anyway it's done now and i survived, all good practice for when i am able to carry my tent up a hill again. Having a very easy night tonight and will be in bed for probably 8pm or so.
Hope your all managing to stay cool5 -
Welcome back, I have been on the forums for years but lost my previous log in, mostly a lurker than a poster!haha. Sounds like you have so much going on, no wonder you are feeling burnt out. Totally agree that building adventuring into the budget is a necessity and I am pleased that OH is more interested at the moment. Also very glad you survived being in work in a ridiculous amount of PPE! I was boiling just reading it!haha. Just remember to be kind to yourself when you can, recovery is slow and frustrating, but you will get there!3

I'm glad you feel okay for now, El - I think you're wise to go to bed really early, it sounds a huge effort. Well done you!2023: the year I get to buy a car4

Thanks all
I went to bed early but had no chance of sleeping, the heat was crazy, I'm sure many of us are finding it the same.
Found a hole in my spending, today im going for coffee with a friend, this has been planned for a while but not budgeted for, I also have lunch with someone on Thursday, so todays spend will be roughly £10 Thursdays lunch atleast £30, I think I will cancel lunch or maybe just go over with something that will reduce the bill coffee today will need to come from the food budget.
The need for an adventure budget is becoming more clearer, whether its coffee, lunch or a full day adventure I need a budget for it.
Writing things down really helps me understand our financial habits more2
