Mr El and I are very lucky we both work and have not badly paid jobs, yes more would be nice just like it is for everyone, but whilst i will moan and plan and budget i know we will get through it, I'm terrified for others4 -

Ahhh I get why you think you may cancel. I think I would suggest catching up over a coffee at yours or hers and spend the money on doing something that you fancy more whether that’s diesel towards an adventure with me/someone else or a dinner with Mr ElMortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

exactly, I think I could best use the £30 or so for lunch on an adventure with yourself and/or Mr El ... Even if it is at that place we like
Adventures are always better with good friends5 -

found another leak, no wonder weve been using up savings, so this leak is actually something that I have budgeted before up until this month so goodness knows why I forgot it, but it's a leak this month and needs plugged, I'm running out of bungs for the good ship Elantan.
Back in January I joined a thread club, £25 a month for 3 threads for quilting, it was an affordable way to have a thread collection, it runs a year and thankfully the money for this month is actually August's lot so just 4 months left to go, but its £25 a month so I now have a £25 hole to fill.
between the spending diary and these things I think we should eventually fix the leaks so that we can survive the apocalypse that seems to be coming over the horizon.
Have a great day everyone hope its cooler for you all5 -
Good for you! Fixing leaks is important2023: the year I get to buy a car3

I agree with KC, a big part of the problem is working out where the money is going.Mortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
