Mr El and I are very lucky we both work and have not badly paid jobs,  yes more would be nice just like it is for everyone, but whilst i will moan and plan and budget i know we will get through it,  I'm terrified for others

yep, it will build up but I think I'm gonna need to give it a proper place in the budget... our adventures are not being left by the way side ... lunch on Thirsday is with that frozen shoulder in glasgow person, so not too bothered if its missed, would rather use it for an adventure in a waterfall, loch or up a hill .... or even sunflower gazing

Ahhh I get why you think you may cancel. I think I would suggest catching up over a coffee at yours or hers and spend the money on doing something that you fancy more whether that’s diesel towards an adventure with me/someone else or a dinner with Mr El

exactly, I think I could best use the £30 or so for lunch on an adventure with yourself and/or Mr El ... Even if it is at that place we like

found another leak, no wonder weve been using up savings, so this leak is actually something that I have budgeted before up until this month so goodness knows why I forgot it, but it's a leak this month and needs plugged, I'm running out of bungs for the good ship Elantan. 

Back in January I joined a thread club, £25 a month for 3 threads for quilting, it was an affordable way to have a thread collection, it runs a year and thankfully the money for this month is actually August's lot so just 4 months left to go, but its £25 a month so I now have a £25 hole to fill. 


between the spending diary and these things I think we should eventually fix the leaks so that we can survive the apocalypse that seems to be coming over the horizon.
