Oh I may put this as my fav waterfall now, this is beautiful as well! I always find myself pleasantly surprised when an adventure which doesn't cost a lot, is so much fun! Sometimes, get caught up in this spending is fun lark!3

och weve been to better waterfalls ... will try and get you a new fave :-) ... more adventures for us that way
shopping today and another wee bit saved with the discount so more pennies for adventuring.
Mr El is making spicy onions with popadoms, veg pakora, chicken tikka bhoona with rice and Nan bread for dinner, no wonder I'm getting fatter
I'm on Standby for work tomorrow, I'm covering 3 standbys in 4 weeks so taking the day resting with a little bit of that housework I dont generally find time for
Not much else planned and next weeks day off I will need to have a think of a solo adventure destination as I am trying to build my strength up still5 -
The views look stunning. I'd have to trek quite a way I think to find any waterfalls near me!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

you should pop up to us @savingholmes were falling over them
just had an email from Ovoe telling me my fixed term is ending soon and I should think about fixing again for the next year/two year ... offering me a deal costing me £548 a month ... I wonder if they will take claps and a deep sense of job satisfaction for payment ?
Been called out twice already, I think I will be put another few times before I'm finished my oncall ... will need the money to pay the gas bill by the sounds of it

It's a gorgeous country we live in elantan. I really should take more advantage of it but Mr F is still struggling with long covid and it really does limit us a bit.

I'd love to come up your end but you sound very up north. The furthest I've ever been is Skye and that felt a trek and a half.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

spending for last month written up on the board, we spent £236 on food £80 on eating out / takeaway and £231 on alcohol, Mr El had a week throughout the month with no alcohol, that's the most he has done for a long time, it wasnt 7 days in a row ( that would be very dangerous) but it was 1 or 2 days here and there, I'm very proud of him for trying.
I feel £236 on food isn't great but I know that isnt including butcher meat and fish etc, so it's not too bad I spose.
I think i will move onto a standard variable rate when the gas and electricity comes up for renewal, maybe keep the money in the bank and just pay the bill every 3 months or so3 -
