Default was BT for £73, settled December 2020. As long as they are settled over 12 months they should meet criteria. I have 3 defaults… all much the same but Kent said this one was showing as un satisfied on Experian but my report I’ve got today and sent shows it is. Luckily Lowell who it was with have sent me a email stating settled dates within hours of me calling today. Broker was amazed they only asked for this as he said they are famous for document requests! …. As we have all seen on this threadEMT87 said:
Do you mind me asking how old the default was ? Panicking over mine now xmd64 said:We’ve heard back from our broker. Kent are happy with everything just requested a letter saying my default was settled as Experian showing unsettled. I’ve sent the letter off and my full Experian report showing as settled. Hoping we may have an offer within another 2 weeks! But won’t believe it till I see it!0 -
Yep!!! They are famous for document requests come back to us twice in almost 7 weeks for simple things like proof of residency for my fiancé and gifted deposit form and p60s !!!0

I only have one default which was settled in 2020 but shows as cleared on everything, my partner has nothing bad. My one default is also almost 6 years old. No late payments between us in 6 years, really hoping we get our offer on Thursday next week 🍀0

I have two old defaults that are over 4 and 5 years but unsettled, my broker says this is accepted by them. Fingers crossed 🤞0

@Doorlock21 that gives me a lot of hope we’ve asked for significantly less, less than half of that with the one default. 🤞0

I am getting so fed up and so worried.
Does anyone know what happens when an offer has been received?
Does it take ages for Kent to complete the mortgage?0
