Well done on the losses.Weigh-in day - 4.5lbs please Brambling.
Well that was a tough 5 week plateau. 🤞I’m over that for awhile.
Breakfast today was a green smoothie bowl made from a frozen ready mix of cucumber, kale, spinach and pineapple blended with Greek yoghurt and topped with berry compote, peanut butter, coconut and slithered almonds and 2 creamy coffees. Other meal started with the rest of the cream of spinach soup then a cottage cheese salad and sugar free jelly for dessert.
Calories are a fair bit below the lowest end of range so a couple of salmon and cream cheese rolls and a biggish square of dark chocolate for supper.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Well done on your loss Brambling, I hope you can get some relief from the gout.
Today for breakfast I had Greek yoghurt with fresh strawberries and raspberries (such a treat instead of the never ending bags of frozen fruits of the forest I bought when it was on special offer), plus the blob of peanut butter and the usual 2 coffees with cream. Other meal has been a caprese salad to start then spicy mince pork and veggies with guacamole, sour cream and grated cheddar followed by sf jelly and cream. I’ve had 2 cups of tea with milk and a mini flake, that’s it for today I think.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Hello again
Breakfast was a mushroom omelette and ketchup and the 2 creamy coffees and a cup of tea with milk. I’ve had a half scoop of electrolyte powder in my water too so about 5 cals! Woke up really thirsty today. Other meal; a spicy prawn cocktail to start then tandoori cauliflower, fish tikka and tomatoes and cucumber, a tiny bit of mango chutney, lime pickle and yoghurt mixed with mint sauce. For dessert a few fresh raspberries and strawberries with chocolate hazelnut sauce (made with a bit of spread and cream). As it’s Fridyay I’ve planned for a couple of weak vodka lime sodas. That’s already at the higher end of my carb range so if I need more food later there is cooked chicken or salami and cheeses or some tinned tuna.

Big dilemma! Had a hospital appt today and they weighed me (clothes and shoes) I was shocked to see it was 5 less than I weigh on my own scales. I weigh naked at home before even a cup of tea as well.

Sammy personally i would carry on using you own scales as that was your benchmark if your recording lbs lost, but entirely up to you

Hisammyjammy I’d go with what feels best in your head.I squish a lime slice with my muddle stirrer stick thingy Brambling, lime cordial does sound refreshing for summer I’ll try it next time I’m sat outside on a sunny day wanting a lager lime which I can no longer tolerate.
My food scales malfunctioned last night so I had to brave the city today. Managed not to be tempted to eat out and compromised on some anti pasti, salad bits and ready to eat stuff for tea. Haven’t been able to count and track numbers today, I could have used measuring cups for breakfast but bit of a faff and much of tea had nutrition and calories on the packaging but cba as was too many components and I was proper hungry.Breakfast was Greek yoghurt with raspberries and strawberries and 1 coffee with cream. I had an iced coffee with milk from *bucks mid morning, then a boiled egg I’d brought early afternoon to tide me over. Tea started with pesto mozzarella balls, sun dried tomatoes and marinated peppers, then a seafood platter (calamari, chilli prawns, assorted sashimi, plain prawns) and salad, coleslaw, marinated cucumbers. Me again checking in for Sunday. Had a full enough English for brunch (1 each of fried egg, chipolata, streaky bacon rasher with lots of tomato and mushrooms) and 2 coffees with cream then a cuppa with milk. Tea was cream of spinach soup, salad with roast chicken, pesto mini mozzarella balls and a little prosciutto with white wine vinegar and e.v.olive oil, sf jelly for dessert. Will have a square of dark chocolate too and that’s it for today.
