Great news for DH @Thirfty_TaylorWelcome @wonderfulwinnieForgot to check in yesterday. DS and I went to the local Aldee for a top up shop and then to the cinema to see the Buzz Lightyear film. It was very good so much so that DS watched the entire thing - no ants in his pants, jumping around, or climbing on his chair. The top-up shop cost £17 - that included toilet rolls and some other household items we’d used up in the caravan. The cinema tickets and a small popcorn totalled £16.Grateful for a positive cinema experience with DS, for tasty homemade (or should that be caravanmade) Chinese fakeaway, and for free podcasts.

Welcome @wonderfulwinnie
Not much happened yesterday. I was too busy watching the shenanigans at Westminster. Got my hair done and walked one and three quarter miles. Not very far but I'm hoping to do better today.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Hello turtles!
Day 2 in the forum and loving all of the messages, I think this will finally keep me on track! Yesterday I spent £17 on food shopping that will last two days. I have been doing research on the other discussions on MSE and also found The Batch Lady on instagram who is giving me good ideas for some batch cooking to keep us away from takeaways. Excited to see what the rest of the month brings!7 -
@ldee2111 if DS loved his cinema experience and is still quite small, then you might want to have a look at 0deon kids , Vue mini-mornings and Cineworld movies for juniors - works out at about £2.50 a ticket (we always sneaked in a big bag of popcorn, even though it is allowed, they loved sneaking). The films tend to be about 8/10 weeks older than new releases, but if ds is under 10 he won't mind.Today is NSD #4. Did the volunteery thing. All kids made it home safely. The sun is shining. I think the shouty blackbird got eaten by a fox last night. Oops. It was all very quiet this morning. It is finally the HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

greent said:How's the fb00k selling going, f0xh0les? - hopefully better than my listing have! 🤞So far I have answered many stoopid questions , like - does the X come with a Z&Y - erm.. is it in the photo? no, does it say it comes with Y &Z? no?? are you sure? then maybe I am selling the item listed, with the stuff in the photo - and btw - it also does not come with a complimentary giraffe (ooh greent you do look marvellous today! said Mr G Raffe)
Flippin 'eck, and these people are allowed to vote!!
Lots and lots of clicks on the fakeb00k market-place items, but so far just the one item has sold so £8 in the fun-tin.I have answered emails from the house selling solicitor's secretary(HSSS), spoken on the phone to the HSSS, and emailed the HSSS again.I have written to the Department of Stealth and Total Obscurity NI (NHS branch) to find out how to get copies of hospital discharge letters for Insurance companies, so I can get my hands on various payouts due, but I do not know how to get the paperwork.I have written to the Irish Water Board to find out why step-gran's house had to pay a water bill, instead of being included in the rates (how is anyone supposed to know these things??!!!), and answered even more stoopid questions that I have already answered in the Big Questionnaire of House Selly Information, but they have not been bothered to read. All in all, about 4 hours of daft admin from 2 - 6 and it does not help knowing that everything closes down at 4pm today so they can get into their party sashes and march about the place wearing bowler hats. It is no more silly than the scouts really, just for grown ups, and no offices shut down for an entire week because the scouts are on jamboree. My brain hurts!! It is a different world.

Ooh yes - I'd forgotten it's the Orange march time of year....
Yeah - fb00k does seem to bring out the stooped questions....
Good luck with the hospital paperwork - I have booper cover through DH's work so can claim cash back for my treatment (like £100 per cycle- booper have a good deal there!) - but the NHS sometimes charge for completing the paperworkStill it's money that o wouldn't have had and I'm stillvgetting fab service - I expect the only difference I'd get with booper is a nicer room to have the treatment in with more staff around - and a nicer lunch than a NHs sandwich! 😁😁

S/G had a plan that she got a cash payout for every night she stayed in an NHS hospital rather than using a private one. But I have to prove she was there. Which is not as easy as it sounds when NI depts are not called the same thing as GB ones. Stressful!

Yeah - my plan pays out for using NHS instead of the private cover. It's blooming hard enough to get my forms completed- I got sent to 6 different departments for my first claim.... I then abandoned the hospital and went to the breast clinic and they did it for meI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206
