I'm going away with my partner next week and want to get insured but i also travel a lot throughout the year, should i therefore take out two policies, an annual for me and one off for him or get a joint annual just in case he travels again anyway? Also, which is the best policy at the mo' we're going on a beach holiday and i mainly travel for business in europe?0

If you're buying an Annual Policy make sure it covers your "Business Travel"0

This one sell's worldwide cover @£70 for a couple and I think its around £50 for a single policy.
The good thing is they will cover most pre exsisting medical conditions, at no additional cost, if you phone the helpline number given when you ask for a quote.
Bad thing they charge £25-£50 if you use the emergency medical cover, but nothing if you use the E111 in Europe. £50 quid wont buy you a plaster in the USA!! so its not that bad.

Read the whole travel insurance article and also combed through the forum, the whole summary is that basically cheapest isn't best and even if you do spend a bit more, the fact that for example is excess is low enough or neglible that you can profit on your loss.
Basically, it's what is right for you, I would steer clear of the cheapest option the sight recommended (Insure & Go) as their payout record is terrible (they don't).0
