great advice, how about if im not in court for the day ( as some times the other party is not) shall i notify the court before hand.

Only if you really, really, REALLY want to reduce your chances of winning the case.

The ‘other party’ may not be in court but they will almost certainly send someone to represent them. Without being there to present your case you are almost certain to lose.

If you do not attend court you will lose and the claimant will be awarded all costs they have claimed and possibly additional costs for unreasonable behaviour.
Even if you lose, as long as you attend you should end up paying less than if you don't turn up at all.

DON'T not turn up for a hearing! You'd likely lose.

shall i mention the fake letter claiming that they have obtained CCJ?
Yes, attach it as an exhibit.  Base your WS bundle on the ones by @aphex007 or @SJRRJS

also can i apply for change of date at this stage or is too late.
No.  That costs a fee.  ATTEND!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would assume that they will pay the fee.
You won't get notified either way.
