received notification from local court that a hearing date will be allocated soon; shall i complain to BPA now wit the fake CCJ letter or wait until the date is set..

I take it that your 'good-will' offer was a 'no thanks'?  Why wait to complain to the BPA, strike now!

If you did not follow the suggestion by @Umkomaas to ask Auntie Google, it means that you cannot mention the contents of that letter to the judge except and until the judge has given the verdict, assuming you win and when you are discussing whether or not you can be awarded any costs (usually £95) against the claimant.

You you have already sent the court your Defence which is the legal arguments you intend to use at a hearing. You now need to write a witness statement to back that up. A good recent example that you should amend for your specific circumstances is by @aphex007

This needs to be sent (email is good) to your local court indicated on your Notice of Allocation by the date stated along with a copy to the claimants solicitors.

I would include the fake CCJ letter to show the judge how unreasonably the claimant has acted in trying to scare you into paying before a judge had seen any evidence.

You need to contact the court if you have pressing reasons to change the date. You were given the opportunity to state dates you were not available in the Directions Questionnaire but I appreciate you may have completed this some time ago an ‘life has to go on’ whilst the wheels of justice slowly turn
