I wonder if you can have spelt flour as well as GF? My friend with coeliacs can. Making up a bag of bases you have made yourself and frozen might be the way to go if you are keen on pizzasSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

Took dog walk near local C0-0P and they had courgettes, £1.25, made a delicious ratatouille, froze 3 portions, then had a moment of weakness and had a late fish&chip supper, £7.10a fact I bitterly regretted at 1 a.m. must remember that reflux next time I am tempted.
Do I need it or just want it.6 -
Thank you elsiepac for doing this thread. As I keep saying it really does help keep us accountable, even if some of us blow the budget such as we did in May and June 😑.
Our July budget is going to be £250.
The month goes 1st to the 31st.This is for two adults, my OH and I, and a chinchilla. Includes all food and drink (except alcohol), cleaning products, toiletries etc and all chinchilla items (food, hay, sand, treats etc.). Really hoping to come in budget however I know tracking the spends is better than doing an impression of an ostrich and not doing so.
Yesterday were shops to Mr. S and L!do.All together so far we are at £55.61 spent.£55.61/£250.
£194.39 left.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy7 -
£68.99/£100 spent today.
£61.75 of that was in A!Di getting food for the month. Got everything I wanted except frozen carrots. Also bought UHT milk to see if having milk in this month saves me money. Might need some more fruit and veg, milk and possibly tea towards the end of the month but that should be it.
I spent £7.24 in H0meBarga!ns on 4 shampoo bars which should last me till Christmas hopefully, some elastic to tighten the waist on some PJs, and some Epsom bath salts which can potentially help muscle cramps. Wanted to try them and see if they are any good with period pain as I get terrible cramps.
Part of my food shop was treating my self to two massive punnets of British strawberries which I've been craving. There was 30% off them both as they are almost out of date, but apparently if you rinse them in a citric acid solution it prolongs there life by a week or so! I keep citric acid in to clean the toilet bowl, so I'll try that, and might try my hand at some small batch strawberry jam as well so nothing goes to waste.
Live the good life where you have been planted.

@elsiepac regarding the average spending post. I think it was me who bought it up just as a query so that I could relate my spends. Concensus seems to be that is just average food spends not cleaning or personal hygiene products which makes complete sense. My vote is to keep them on first post as it gives us something to aim for.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
GC 2022 = £3154.96
2023 = £3334. 84
2024 = £.3221.81
2025 = £2043.99/£3300
Jan 413.77 Feb £361.32, March £192. April £438.06 May £261.66 June £204.54 July £172.64/ £250
Decluttering campaign. 2024= 75 and half/52 bin bags full. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏅💐DH ⭐8 -
I’m going for £180 again, and keeping my fingers crossed
Can I also vote to keep the average spend info on the page. It’s really interesting and something to inspire.
No spend for me so far this month yet, but out with my sisters tomorrow so might change before my Mr T home delivery due on Tuesday.
