Interesting story
“York student uses AI chatbot to get parking fine revoked”

That reminds me of a story last month of a motorist who used ChatGPT to reduce his Gatwick Airport "fine" from £100 to £15 ......
https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/driver-chatgpt-challenge-airport-drop-off-fine
I heard this story on LBC, and Tom Swarbrick was marveling at Mr Bosley's ingenuity, but if only Mr Bosley's Google search had taken him to the MSE forums instead of ChatGPT, then he would have paid nothing !6 -
Yep and Mr Bosley is from Brighton to so he could have had a chat with me!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And another:Driver enters a car park, someone gets out of the vehcile then they swap drivers and the car leaves after staying for three minutes.usual rubbish from IPC PPC, Ipark“The driver of the vehicle must enter the full and correct vehicle registration into the payment system selected.” It goes onto say a breach of any of the conditions will result in the driver being liable for a parking charge £100. If that is not paid a £60 collection fee is added.
try doing that in three minutes, plus reading the rubish on the signage

Driver enters a car park, someone gets out of the vehcile then they swap drivers and the car leaves after staying for three minutes. All should have been done on the roadside, no danger of PPC interference! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.Private Parking Firms - Killing the High Street4 -
Agreed! No idea why people seek out a car park to temporarily stop a car.
However, this is anti-fairness firm i-Park again, who I posted an article about last week, where they boasted they can make up the consideration period because the IPC lets them, and in the place in the earlier article that period was two minutes.
If this scammery plus litigation model isn't currently worse than clamping used to be, I'll eat my hat.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It will go wrong because it says that £160 is already being demanded and yet the victim 'plans to use the IAS'.
That'll be the £15 non-standard one then, where people pay to lose and agree to be bound by it...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What is the matter with the Rishi government, the last thing people want in this country at the moment or in the future is a mega scam operator ?
To call the IPC and indeed the BPA "Accredited" is beyond a joke, it now means a government approved scam..... and it's all now under Rishi's watch which is not going well for him at the moment
