Yet another deluded publican thinks their premises need ANPR to inflict aggressive surveillance and £100 risk every day on EVERY CUSTOMER, instead of simply putting up their own signs and either a barrier gate or even an 'honesty payment' secure box (which would make an extra income for them out of the waiting cars that come & go):

The Fishbourne pub - you are named and shamed.

You are sadly deluded if you think ANPR is the answer and that it is OK to wash your hands of what is happening to many of your customers, by saying "we don't make any money from the scheme".

Errrm, yes...we know that.  Of course you don't!   Grrrrr.  Open your eyes.

This is how the ANPR scam model works and will, in a short period, ruin your custom and will 'fine' your staff too.  It's a protection racket done for free - can't you see the problem with that?

Other pubs have almost been bankrupted by parking firms ruining their trade then suing them for desperately turning off the ANPR electricity supply.  Shops have been forced to close up and down the country due to loss of business caused by private ANPR firms.

Phil Gilbraith, group general manager at the Inns of Distinction, which runs the FISHBOURNE, you have been warned this will end in tears and you won't be able to get out of the Contract.

Utter madness for a Pub to do this.

Over the years it estimates it has cost it thousands of pounds, due to lost custom and having to pay staff to check vehicles.

This foolish pub has seen nothing yet

    The ROT is already starting

We had a passable lunch after arriving over on the ferry to visit a sick relative February 26. To our horror nearly two weeks later we received a £100 parking fine

How one man's war against a £100 private parking fine could invalidate EVERY ticket sent by an ANPR camera

The 2 man band trading at diszzy heights again .... GROUP NEXUS

"A spokesperson for GroupNexus said: 'There are no issues related to the use of ANPR or the quality of the data produced. In addition, our experience in reading the data over the last 20 years has established a clear process for enforcing parking restrictions or not, at all our locations"

    What a load of tosh ..... ?

Just another BPA MEMBER wriggling and showing government they are not fit for purpose
