Jeez just look at some of the desperate cancellations currently happening, to make it look to the DLUHC that this rogue industry play nicely and deal with vulnerable or elderly people fairly (errrmmm...we think not):

    https://www.stroudnewsandjournal.co.uk/news/23124418.oaps-100-parking-fine-five-valleys-car-park-scrapped/

    https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/23119374.pensioner-issues-advice-wrongly-receiving-parking-fine/

Both 80 year olds, whose cases were publicised in the local paper.

Methinks some furious backpedalling is currently taking place on some cherry-picked publicised cases, so the industry can say to the DLUHC 'look at what we do...this is totally normal for us...'

Not in our experience, CEL and Horizon.  You normally sue the pants off people.

Despite the number of times the F word has been used, this was about PCN issued by Armtrac after a PDT ticket fell off the windscreen because the adhesive was not fit for purpose.

I know it's not parking folks but this is well worh s read.

The airline flying above the law - Wizz Air UK Limited fails to pay claim, even after court ruling: TONY HETHERINGTON investigates

    https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/experts/article-11446965/TONY-HETHERINGTON-airline-flying-law-Wizz-Air-UK.html?ico=mol_desktop_home-newtab&molReferrerUrl=https://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html&_ga=2.202094609.1693074395.1668632915-1400215144.1668632915

This could be ideal for the "can't pay we'll take it away" boys as this is real NOT fake ? ..... I do admit that it would be difficult to store an Airbus A320

On a post on here last week, Coupon-mad mentioned questions to the MOJ about the dodgy legas who operate in the mickey mouse industry ...with no response .... that was no surprise, it must be very difficult for the MOJ to admit that back in 2012, government were duped into the biggest scam we have ever seen.

Tony Hetherington clearly has contacts because about Wizz Air UK, he discovered that there were 456 county court judgments against Wizz Air UK. It had paid 55 of these, leaving 401 unsatisfied.

What can he find for us ?

Whilst writing this, I decided that the "can't pay we'll take it away" boys would not be suitable because fake damages and a play with monopoly money ... WIZZ AIR won't give a toss

I'd be more concerned about Wizzair changing an aircraft to a larger one after everyone had checked in and not reassigning seating, so too many passengers were near the front, significantly upsetting the centre of gravity.

A government spokesman said: 'We recognise there has been unacceptable practices by a small number of cowboy companies. We will introduce our Private Parking Code of Practice as soon as possible to help tackle this issue.'

Don't they mean by most of the cowboy companies?
This article is very poor some of the photos don't even refer to private car parks, some of the idiots commenting are blaming councils and saying those in the photos deserve what they get for the way they are parked in the street.
