Juts had a read - what a pathetic and weak plead to justify unlawful double recovery! Comments appeared to erased and turned off as he is so worried about the game being given away which was exposed years ago. Pathetic. I think Parkmaven took down the interview where Gary Osner boasts about inventing this fee because "business is about making money". Its been repeated and shared all over the web.

It's like Derek Millard-Smith - always comes across as a snake-oil salesman in my view, but there's something about a suited solicitor that means journalists believe them and give them a pedestal.

And re the new Minister in charge of the parking portfolio after the deckchairs were rearranged, who knows if she'll be as credulous as the last one appeared to be (going by his demeanour when I met him and going by the appalling Options Assessment the MHCLG produced which had NOTHING to offer regarding the right & proper - and desperately overdue - policy of banning DRA fees)?

WAKEY WAKEY MHCLG MINISTERS.

If your staff & ministers don't understand why the 'escalation' fees MUST be banned outright, ask the FCA who have experience of herding rogue DRAs and ask the CMA about the elephant in the room.

I think it was before and related to Davies / Gladstones and Hurley of the IAS 
In those days a failure at the IAS resulted in Gladstones taking people to court. A bit like the BPA using Wright Hassal solicitors as POPLA known as WHOPLA .... that was a complete farce and a BPA SHAM

After the Prankster report,  Davies and Hurley were caught out and so the IPC/IAS became a seperate setup.

Even today, we still see Gladstones taking legal action on failed IAS appeals.  "AND THE BEAT GOES ON"

In the bowels of Google we find the Prankster report of Gladstones and the IPC/IAS ... A KANGAROO COURT ..... in other words the IPC/IAS  is a load of rubbish

If Government cannot see this, they deserve to lose at the next election, if not before.   THIS IS A MEGA SCAM

All very impressive you might think except:

Copyright in the UK is automatic, there's no need to register anything.

An idea can be patented, but tiered membership schemes of the kind that PPS describes are nothing new or innovative.

The UK Copyright Service is a small private company with over 71% one star reviews on Trustpilot.

So it looks like PPS have paid £99 for a useless piece of paper.  

They do have the trademark on their logo which is actually quite nice, but that's about it.

My own news today. Visited this fattening American fast food joint and looked for any restrictive signage, poised to agree or decline any ridiculous contract. I was very disappointed to find none. 

After gorging myself, without any need to check my watch, I then decided to visit the completely separate business across the road. I was pleased to discover a pedestrian walkway specifically designed for such a task and accompanied by no insane £100 charges for performing such an action.

At the business opposite it was also a private parking desert and people were free to park in whatever manner they liked.

The most amazing aspect of this small car park utopia was that everything ran completely smoothly. There was plenty of space. Cars were parked correctly in bays with no vehicles over the lines. Disabled bays were half full, with blue badges clearly displayed, although there was no obligation to do so and nobody to check them. The other half of bays were empty, inviting the next disabled driver to make use of the facilities.

I thought such a scenario was completely impossible without a private parking company! Where is the chaos, selfishness and mayhem?
