https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/money/2024/mar/18/uk-watchdogs-warn-of-crackdown-on-threatening-debt-collection-tacticsThis article from march 2024 tells us four of the UK regulators published a joint letter calling on companies to improve their debt collection practices after shortcomings were identified. The poor behaviour found risks affecting customers' mental and physical health and can lead them to make decisions not in their best interests. The watchdogs said "where we find firms are falling short and delivering poor outcomes leading to consumer harm, we may take robust action".'may'....surely they should be saying we 'will' take robust action. Regulators always seem so reluctant to take action these days it's hard to find reasons why.4

Mr Hurley denouncing the good work of some forums - whilst saying people should appeal (which as we know, unless you have a slam dunk is so far proven to be a but of a sham)
Oh yeah - and as mentioned previously in one of my threads the awful (IMHO) www.247advice.co.uk put together by IPC & Barbour Logic (who seemed to have won the Parking Tech awards from the BPA for the last 3 years). If you want a giggle have a look here https://www.247advice.co.uk
Key thing is he is encouraging folk to stick it on their PCNs - as predicted by @Nellymoser

Blimey and on that page - the Barbour logic privacy and the T&Cs send you to these pages - what a farce!

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I remember when I was in panic mode I turned to BPA for advice the email info they fed me wasn't just misleading it was completely untrue. They lied to benefit their members.3 -
