In a statement to Express.co.uk, Alliance Parking said: "We comply with the existing IPC Code of Practice ?

I doubt The Express really understands the scam IPC.  THEY SHOULD DO SOME REAL INVESIGATION into The Gladstones/Davies/Hurley/IPC/IAS setup

They won't have to do much work, this scam is all over the internet

THIS IS WHAT WE WANT ....

    Free, fair and fast appeals.
    Decided by expert,
    independent lawyers

This is what the the TPT SAY snd do:-

The Traffic Penalty Tribunal decides motorists’ appeals against parking and traffic Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued by local authorities and charging authorities

    https://www.trafficpenaltytribunal.gov.uk/

At the moment, they deal with councils but there is no reason why right now, they could not deal with private parking companies and also charge them.
Successful appeals via TPT are very high compared with just 4% by the IPC/IAS and the tea boys at POPLA

The motorists deserve a fair hearing which the TPT offers

Of late we have seen that parking at Heathrow and other airports have a postal appeals service to DRP ..... Debt Recovery Plus, the well known circus clowns ?
When were DRP appointed as an appeals service ?

DRP are BPA members so why does the BPA ALLOW THIS RUBBISH which means motorists are being scammed

The BPA HAVE FAILED in their duties as an ATA, very poor CEO's and staff.
Unless the BPA can explain in detail why their membership scams the motorist,  and why a board member is allowed to introduce a scam, they should be terminated

There are many valid reasons to terminate the BPA.

Another day, another parking story in the media, this time it's a national paper, the Guardian and a residential case https://amp.theguardian.com/money/2022/jul/23/driver-parking-fines-code
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

The difference between McDonalds and KFC's attitudes to their customers:

    https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/local-news/mcdonaldscustomer-handed-50-parking-fine-7403320

"A spokesperson for McDonald's said: "We have parking restrictions in place at a number of our restaurants, with a time limit to ensure there is adequate parking for all of our customers.

"At this restaurant the time limit is 90 minutes and we make this clear to our customers with signage in the car park. If a customer feels they have been wrongly ticketed, we would encourage them to get in touch with the third party contractor who issued the ticket by way of appeal.”

    Compare and contrast:

    https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/20587687.kfc-apologise-darwen-mum-cancel-100-parking-fine/

"KFC has since apologised to Carolyn.  A KFC spokesperson said: “To help keep things running smoothly, we do have some parking limits in place, but what happened to Carolyn wasn’t great. We’re really sorry and we’ve been in touch with her to make things right and cancel the fine.”
