This looks like a red route being set up by the Council on an A road near Bristol Airport:
    https://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/news/regional-news/bristol-airport-drivers-face-70-8564991.amp

Now if I am right and this is to be a Local Authority initiative with £70 penalty charges (seen as a hefty deterrent when well signed), this is great evidence to tell the DLUHC in the Public Consultation, if they ask whether you think £100 is right for Airport no-stopping zones:

    ANSWER: NO.

Why the Hell should the likes of VCS (particularly greedy ex-clampers, notorious for issuing a no-stopping PCN to Mr Ward and dragging him to two hearings when his engine failed for FOUR SECONDS, plus other PCNs for stopping at barriers and zebra crossings) be enabled by the Government to get £100, especially given they have an unhealthy monopoly on Airport red-route roads?

How can that be acceptable when the brand new red route to be operated by the Local Authority near to Bristol Airport on the A38 is charging £70 - which is a hefty penalty and more than sufficient.  Make VCS prove they can operate fairly; reduce Airport 'no stopping' cash-cow level to £70 to match the Local Authority equivalent.

OR IS THIS ROAD ALSO GOING TO BE VCS-DOMINATED?

The article is useless as it also says:

"Once in place they will be enforced by the Bristol Airport policing team and anyone parked on them will be issued with a fine."

    ...Say what now?

North Somerset Council are no clearer:

Hopeless Freeman of the Land stuff this deluded guy found on Faceache fails to get him off a Speeding fine:

This is similar to the rubbish spouted by the carefully cherry-picked pushover Defendant in Britannia v Semark-Jullien and I met that guy in court. Hopeless defence and  I'm being charitable to even call it a 'defence' .

🤦‍♂️ - FMOTL B/S!  Tried to counter-sue the police for £210 million, using 'mediaeval laws and customs'!

I spluttered out my coffee when I read this comment:
Melt with Mullet Magistrated to the tune of 1000.
    Classic.

The latest BPA member to refuse an appeal then furiously back-pedal when a newspaper got involved, is F1rst Parking:
    https://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/23629068.southend-hospital-parking-firm-scrap-fine-injured-womans-daughter/

Almost like the BPA has told the all to do this.  The BPA must be so proud of this extreme carpet-lifting.
The BPA is no longer what government approved and is now run by the stooges we see on here daily

This wild scamming bunch have gone totally against Sunak's promises ..... Transparency .... Integrity .... Honesty

Which of course the integrity of this entity (BPA) the DVLA rely on to give out motorists personal data willy nilly.

I can't help but wonder how many more officials seem to be enthralled by the "men in suits". Hope the officials involved in the new CoP are not:-

"He began by saying "We all know that working in partnership provides better transport services and I am delighted that the department has been working closely with the BPA to develop smarter parking - maximising the benefit of real-time data and IT systems to improve the experience of the user." "

"I know that the constructive working relationship with the BPA, which my department has enjoyed over many years will continue."

    Yes I saw that.

Breathed a huge sigh of relief that the statutory CoP is NOTHING to do with the blinkered Dept for Transport who have been in the BPA's pocket for far too long.

    Don't worry.

The DLUHC is not in a PPC suit pocket.

No surprise that the years-long notorious scam site of Earlham House in Norwich is still being rinsed dry by the questionable 'rules' cooked up by the greedy landowner and/or NPE:

    https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/23631312.npe-parking-fines-earlham-house-norwich-challenged/

The IPC must be so proud. This is parking management, is it?  In your cloud cuckoo land!

Just imagine the 'carmaggeddon', though, if Earlham House had no PPC and people could shop safe from a scammer.

Oooer.  Worried? Maybe the UK public are wrong!

Let's never forget, according to this laughable BPA propaganda piece, losing the 'benefit' of scam, badly signed predatory operations like those we feature in this thread will cost the UK's economy a £19.5 billion hit:

The propaganda by the BPA is just part of the "Pinocchio" scam club

People will not STOP spending money, they will just go elsewhere where there are no scammers

NO, there will not be a hit of £19.5 billion, sadly this is the dreamworld the BPA live in, maybe they should move from Haywards Heath to Disney Land
