You'll need to check with the Tentacled ones to check if they will let you withdraw any credit. I know we were told we didn't have enough to get any back & we were over £300 in credit at the time....but our monthly DD is £130

Good plan to get your dinner earlier when you'll be going out anyway, one less thing to worry about if you know you'll both be fed that day, and hopefully a bit money saving.
And I agree a good suggestion from @LittleMissDetermined

You are very much not lazy.
I know how knackering it is having consistent pain and how much energy my body uses just to cart itself around doing basic tasks, and you have physical challenges and you're taking care of your son and now your nephew and helping your sister, and your brain must be using up so, so much energy when it's conjuring up things that aren't there, and then you need to use even more energy to try to convince it what's real... you may be too exhausted to do much at times but you certainly are not lazy!

Hello @Keedie, hope you're coping but it does sound like a tough time and maybe you just need to 'keep plodding' on till you're out the other side. I hope your sister is continuing to improve and the click she experienced in her neck last week wasn't anything to worry about.

I wanted to say thanks for your mention of the heated eye masks. I didn't think it was my sort of thing, but they are so nice to use and it seems to be easing the dry eyes, though not to the extent of tears after use!

Hey everyone, I've been offline for a few days as I've not been feeling mentally well at all. But I'm slowly starting to bounce back. I'll read everyone's comments and respond again properly soon. Hope you're all well. xx

Aww bless you, hope you start to feel better.  Sometimes I think getting offline for a while is so important. I keep trying, but fail as I want to come on here and see how everyone is doing and I also have an online exercise lady I follow on FB, so I go on there to do a class and end up scrolling through all the rubbish that is really no use to me at all. I must try harder. I find too much online is starting to affect my sleep, so really trying to find ways to help that.
    Take care x

@Makingabobor2, I aim to stop anything screen related an hour before I go up to bed. The volume of books I am reading, of all types, is increasing significantly 😉 and my knitting project is coming on nicely 😊

Yes, this is what I try and do and then quite often I fail...lol. I just check the weather or the news and then end up scrolling on Vinted...."just in case"....lol    I do read a lot, which does help.

  • Hi @Keedie just checking in, it might be worth noting that taking out the fridge on credit, you may be able to overpay, so you can take it over 12months and send little payments over to pay it off quicker- I did this with our mattress! May not be possible though, but worth a thought!

I always love seeing your weekly update, I love the crossed out debt on there! Great work on the savings!

I hope you are starting to feel a little better, you have been doing so much recently, well done on your honesty on work appraisal!
