....... and exactly what was suggested earlier in the thread

Wanted to flag that it seems the N180 form has changed again (updated 22 May 2024) and now doesnt give you the option to refuse small claims mediation - the paper version still has it on though.

Does anyone has a link to word or pdf version of the old document, where there is an option to refuse mediation? This is what I was sent in the post but would refer to complete electronically.  Many thanks,

Refuse small claims mediation no longer on the forms? So what will happen to parking claims? All to mediation?....mediate with them ?!?! Isn't that why we all end up here?
Btw, "judge's direction of allocation" letter.....what are the stats on it being thrown out or getting a hearing? Anyone know?

I don't understand all the questions but yes, we know it is compulsory now. See the thread last week by @Grizebeck

No we can't find the old form online, so @Xty83 maybe just use the paper one and take a scan or photo of all pages once completed. Email and post it, and keep a certificate of posting.

I have found an electronic (Word) copy of the old form that I've completed as per newbie advice. Very happy to share it if someone can tell me how.  Should save time for others as will be very quick to edit...

    Hi Xty83,

Can you please share the old form?
  • Hi all, I need some advice on my Directions Questionnaire (N180). Obviously I need to put No to the question that states ‘Do you consider that this claim is suitable for determination without a hearing?’ However, my local court is Bedford and having read this thread I can see they operate via the small claims determination pilot which appears to not be as favourable for the defendant. I have already written Bedford on the form before I read this. Shall I redo the form and change the court and will I have to specify a justifiable reason as to why I’m choosing an area where I don’t live? Could I still be exempt from paper determination with the correct reasoning at Bedford or is this non-negotiable? @Coupon-mad @KeithP @Grizebeck any help would be hugely appreciated, thank you!
