I have come up with a cunning plan re sports bra. The one I was going to sell is too small in band so I have 'obtained' an old bra (from my sister's wardrobe) and will take the hook section off that to extend the band. Hopefully my sewing skills are up to the challenge.1 -
You can buy bra extenders that do that, basically a little extra section that bridges the gap.3

@stymied I can't believe it has taken me this long to think of extending it.
Debt payments made for this month are as follows:
CC1- £65
CC2- £150
This is slightly above the minimum payments for both. Both payments are paying more of the capital than the interest.
Paying more of the capital than interest is what I've settled on. I don't think I'm going to try and throw all my money at the debt or set a percentage target. These just put me back in the very black and white mindset I keep trying to escape.
#edited to change cc1 payment from £60 to £65. Set the interest rate incorrectly.

First attempt at extending bra went ok. Stretching the imagination (ahem) a tad so will have to rethink. Franken bra is now in Franken wardrobe.
Hedging my bets have ordered a cheap amazon sports bra, we shall see how that goes.

I hope the Amaz-on bra fits and will do its job. Ultimately if lack of a suitable bra is preventing you from starting running which will be part of your wellness regime perhaps a steep delivery charge is worth paying? Or could it be delivered to a UK friend and they could post it to you?The colouring sounds very relaxing - Saving Holmes does some beautiful cards and as they say it's great to send to family and friends. You are doing a great job looking after your family - not many people could do what you are doing.
have a good week3 -
Thanks @Blackcats the delivery charge was £15 on a £40 bra. My fingers wouldn't push the buy button, they were too horrified.
Amazon bra has arrived and is relatively good for £21. Requires some contortions to get into.
Health wealth is being taken in baby steps. First step was to take iron tablets. Second is to recover from prolonged sleep deprivation. Third will be to go on antidepressants.
In the meantime, I'm going out for walks, doing some very sporadic body weight exercises and yoga.
My aim is a regular practice that gives me energy. It is a combination of physical and neurological work to be done.
Also the extra work I am doing at the moment is looking after 3 young children. Thats more exercise than a gym lol.
Mortgage paid today. Not sure if it has gone up in the latest round of Snakes and Ladders: Economy Edition so have transferred a bit extra.3 -
Went to the library yesterday and picked up a book which is turning out to be exactly what I needed. He talks about the picture within the picture and how to live with the inherent dichotomies of being alive.
I love when you come across something that gives you the words for what you're trying to say.5 -

That is an amazing photograph. Is that your dog?
The book sounds like something I would be interested in. What is it?
I bought a book yesterday. Silly, as I love libraries and promised myself no new books until my stuff is out of storage...
Good work on the health wealth baby stepsIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
