  • Thanks @doingitanyway and @savingholmes

The dog is technically my brothers but will accept attention from anyone willing to worship her/take her to bogs or beaches/feed her.
The book is How We Change by Ross Ellenhorn. I'm the same with buying books although that expense has been reduced since living in Ireland again. Not because I have developed self control but because you can request books from any library in Ireland.
Health wealth is a phrase from a website email I got yesterday, the meaningful phrases are abundant this week.
Photo is of a track in the Wicklow Mountains National Park. It's from the old peat farms.
  • Oh @doingitanyway I'm also reading A Trip of One's Own by Kate Wills which I suspect you might enjoy
  • Actually I'm thinking about books now (well I think about them every day) so that is something fun to write down. Seeing as I have no money to talk about lol. Also I'm waiting to see if Dad wakes up 🤷

    CURRENTLY READING

How We Change by Ross Ellenhorn
A Trip of One's Own by Kate Wills
Left on Tenth by Delia Ephron
Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott
A Place for Everything by Judith Flanders

I'm also reading a couple of dementia books.
And yes I am reading more than one book at a time a la Rory Gilmore.

I love the dog and the beautiful photograph. The landscape where you are is gorgeous. Lucky you to have it on your doorstep.
Thank you for the book list. Nothing, except maybe cake, excites me more than a good book list. I have already looked up a few of the books and they chime with me. I am going to the library today so I will see if they have any from the list in stock. Thank you.

Out of the whole long list there wasn't one book I could take out. I have Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott on order, so there is that...

Ha not surprised they are a pretty eclectic bunch. The Ross Ellenhorn one is only 2.99 on Kindle though. It looks like he has another one coming out this year which looks good

What an interesting thread! I'll be cheering you on, WelshmansDaughter.  Caring for a loved one with Dementia is so hard.  What Dementia books are you reading? I enjoyed The Little Girl in the Radiator.
