I prefer reading in print. I had a Kindle but it was stolen...never mind...

Adding to dementia books. I enjoyed...

'Somebody I used to know' Wendy Mitchell

What an interesting thread! I'll be cheering you on, WelshmansDaughter.  Caring for a loved one with Dementia is so hard.  What Dementia books are you reading? I enjoyed The Little Girl in the Radiator.
Thanks GhibliFan. I haven't come across that one so I've requested it from the library.
At the moment I am reading The Spectrum of Hope by Gayatri Devi and I have her other one out as well.
I am also trying to get through Dementia Reconsidered but it is a bit waffly

I'm a big Oliver Sacks fan, it was thanks to his books that I realized Dad had been inaccurately diagnosed. His memoir On the Move is very good.
I too prefer reading in print, I used to go away with a suitcase half full of books. I got a free kindle in a trial study and the first time I downloaded a book on holiday I was a convert. I use the app on my phone now.
I think my reading might become too restricted if I just relied on libraries. I like quite random genres.
  • My relationship with books is a lot better than my relationship with money 🤷🤯
Lidl shop was over €100 again. I've been all over the place with working and just using the freezer stuff so a lot went to waste because I was tired and disorganized.
On Saturday I will try to cook and freeze most of it in portions. I think I'll be tired this coming week. I've already done the binge on takeaway for two days on the trot. I enjoyed it but I don't want to keep doing it.
On the bright side lidl had the shorts I didn't buy last week on half price this week.
Mortgage and cards all paid by the end of the month with breathing room so that feels quite nice.
Nothing extra towards debt this month as I am going to the dentist next week. I think I want to buy some organization products this month as well as I'm getting quite stressed in the house.

Organisation products sound good. Remember to look for any deals on FB too.

Yes I mean marketplace. It's been a lifesaver for me since my divorce.

I tried in Scotland and kept getting messages from people at 2am- put me off a bit.

Yeah the earliest he could fit me in was the 7th July. Will be so glad to get rid of Bad Tooth no 1.

At the moment I am looking for things to organise my study/office/piece of bench where my stuff lives. I have a small room in my parents' house approx 9 by 9 feet where I would like to have all my stuff organised by category. Ideally I will choose what I'm going to be doing and each thing will have an appropriate container and location.
Which is a long winded way of saying I'm probably going to buy a lot of plastic boxes on wheels.
I think I will monitor everything on a large whiteboard- I'm just trying to find an appropriate one.
