just googled it DIA and promptly sent it to my brother. Hopefully it will resonate with him. Although someone who owns 13 black jumpers may be beyond saving...2

Or someone with 13 black jumpers may have really worked out exactly what they like wearing.

You're an optimist KoK🤣🤣🤣
As I was showing him what I'd done he kept going I didn't know I had that/I was looking for that/there's my friend's neckwarmer that I've had since last Xmas...
Bless him he keeps coming down in a different t-shirt now that they've been separated out.

Bless him. Mum didn't recognise any of her clothes and kept asking me to sell them, she was convinced the last owner of her flat must have left them behind. Dementia logic.1

Probably past time for an update. I have only been doing bits and pieces as for the last four weeks Dad has been experiencing very poor sleep. In the end, I made the decision to quit my cleaning job. This frees up four full days to focus on Dad's wellbeing. The cleaning became quite difficult as fatigue made it harder and then I wasn't recovering afterwards so effectively lost a whole day.
Teacup has offered to replace the income which I have accepted but unsure how that will go. I do feel better about doing more cleaning in the house though if I am getting paid lol.
Went to ikea (finally!) yesterday and bought a few bits and pieces including the pepprig cleaning set. Came out thinking I never wanted to go there again lol.
I also bought a budget Fitbit. I was looking at something along those lines but wasn't really sure if I'd use it so I'm going to try out the cheap one, see what I get out of it. Without enough information it is too easy for me to slip back into old patterns.
Money wise I have done a quick budget for three months but was struggling to get to grips with it so will get back to it when I have recovered a bit.
Been offered a day off tomorrow but have no real idea of what I'd do 🤦♀️2 -
Thats my brother's wardrobe Ghibli I've been tidying it out.
Dad's wardrobe is dramatically simpler thankfully. He is quite particular about his clothes even though he can't see them. I'm a bit of a slob but he always has to be tidy, shirt tucked in properly.2 -
Well done - you've made huge inroads. I'm glad you are accepting some money. It will hopefully help you have more energy to care for him AND meet your own needs.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Is it nice enough out to spend some time in the fresh air on your free day today @WelshmansDaughter? It makes me feel miles better.2

Bit of a panic moment this morning when I woke up to daylight 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks to the clocks going back it was only 7.20. So I was out with the milkman this morning. I needed some fresh air after spending yesterday cleaning out my sister's room. My throat was filled with phlegm when I woke up thanks to all the dust in there. Although at least that is confirmation that it needs to be done.
The major advantage has been that I now have slippers, hair clips and several items of clothing. And a charger for headphones.
I'm sorry @KeepOnKnitting but nine Xmas jumpers is too many.
I did head out briefly yesterday Stymied but it was a fairly drizzly day.
I think it was just nice to be able to work on a project for a long time without having to stop and start. And if I wanted to I could stop and have a break/escape the dust.
