Ha haven't got the hang of that yet KoK. Maybe I should take your antihistamine
Bought Heavy's birthday present (a whole day in advance) and got €15 off, remembered a gift card I got for opening my bank account and used that. Also found an insulated jacket for Dad in Penneys which will hopefully fit. So that will be his Xmas present that he will get now. Away to update the table with the new figures.
Bought face cloths for Dad and slippers for me; unplanned spending of €9.

Definitely having things move out the house is good. Most satisfying bit. I used to delegate that part but now have no-one to delegate it to which has slowed progress.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I am hoping that the pickups arranged for today go ahead as planned SH. That will be one large desk and a small table gone. I'm down to annoying stuff now, bags of books that I can't really donate as all the local charity shops restrict how many books they will take. I am very likely going to recycle them.
Dad started complaining about his teeth again on Friday (always sick right before the weekend) and the dentist has prescribed antibiotics again. So he is on soft food and comfort rations.
No takeaways (including tea/coffee) 7/30.
Youtube ban went well, didn't really miss it but was nice to have a lazy evening yesterday catching up on frivolous TV.
Currently trying to keep the day varied and to stop going overboard doing single projects. Not sure how well this one is going. Some of the stuff at the moment is a bit more overload than others.
My room is bursting at the seams again which is driving me mad. I keep thinking I just want a minimal, clean look and then I have a hoover, clothes baskets ...1 -
Both tables collected whoop whoop!
Hopefully Heavy will help me with a tip run which will be Thursday as hopefully back to work tomorrow.
Been a bit negative in diary land due to lack of sleep. I'd like to keep it more positive but honestly sometimes my thoughts just stop somewhere short of a channel 5 documentary.
Small things I really appreciate1. Putting a small glass beside the sink to rinse out toothpaste.
2. The sound of the wind and a cool breeze on my face with a hot water bottle on my back.
3. The bath I took this morning.
4. CiCi the pressure cooker.
5. Amazon delivery
6. Spray mouthwash
7. Finding the brand of stoves I like and having a place to record it so I don't forget again.
8. Holding dad's hand.
9. Coming up with a night time story for Dad10. Applying the knowledge from the writing book to Dad's stories
11. Henry the Hoover
12. Understanding employer13. Poseidon the house plant14. Felix the Fitbit
15. Clear space3 -
Local to me, almost every church is now offering at least one day a week as a "warm space" with tea, coffee, company and warmth so that local folk don't have to heat their homes. If you have anything like that locally, they may welcome the books.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?3 -
Thanks satchmo I will investigate.1

attempt at multigrain porridge in the pressure cooker. It is in no way liquid and something crunches but altogether not bad.

That porridge looks excellent. Do I spot quinoa in there?
Well done with the decluttering.
I love the gratitude list(especially the rinsing glass in the bathroom)

Tricolour quinoa DIA. Plus buckwheat, oats, chia seeds, mixed seeds with soya milk and coconut cream.
The problem with my decluttering is that I decluttered rooms into other rooms. 🤦♀️😁
The rinsing glass is quite frankly one of my favourite things. I used to get so annoyed at toothpaste in the sink...1 -
Well done on the continued decluttering and the gratitude list.
I released a crate of books on FB for £4 - it took a few weeks but went eventually. Just a thought.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
