Glad you are enjoying experimenting in the kitchen.
I've never tried cinnamon bread but it is the one spice I've never been keen on.
The old coat sounds like it was well overdue for going. Well done for replacing it. You matter.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Currently in the bath eating strawberries and attempting to read an article on decision making.
The decision I am attempting to make is whether or not to quit my cleaning job. I had to cancel last Friday and felt less worn out, even though I had been awake since 1am.
Quitting would mean a loss of €180 pcm. It would also be less time out of the house.
Quitting would mean more quality time with Dad. It would mean less exhaustion as I don't tend to recover physically easily these days. Dad's needs are more physical so I have less energy for such a physically demanding job.
Not sure if I just need a break or to retire from cleaning altogether. My other income is uncertain but I can pay the mortgage and bills just on carer's allowance.2 -
You have to do what is right for you in the moment. I still think you should ask for some money from your parents if they have the means to pay. That would reduce significant stress for you as it would be less close to the wire...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

To be fair I probably spend around 200 euro on her card per month. Mostly food related.
Teacup did offer to pay me the 45 euro but I turned her down as honestly I can't rely on her, she's too up and down for me.
Currently in the bath (yes again) with a glass of muscle relaxant (ahem). I have figured out why we can't push the wheelchair and it is because it is too high, relying entirely on the shoulder. Hence muscle relaxant.
Not back to thinking strength yet after a weekend of over stimulation and lack of sleep. Or I suppose not back to thinking and doing.1 -
