£21.85 spent in Morries on the way home last night. This includes £6 on treats for the week. I just did a basic shop for the things I could think of after a Very Long Day. I can see where I would want to improve so I think an expectation of £30/35 for the bill would be better.

Got home way too late to do laundry so that has to be added to the bill/list for this week. Have become possibly too enamoured of handwashing pants.

Trying to get a library book returned this morning before an apt for blood tests after my apt for acid problems. It's one of those things I have trouble working out the timing for.

I'm glad you got yourself some food! Can you renew your book online and save a trip?

I can just remember from my childhood that the laundry van used to come round for sheets and towels. From reading Mum's diaries, 'smalls' and hankies were handwashed in the days before we had a washing machine. I don't know how shirts, trousers and dresses were done but I suspect they were hand washed, too. So although I had to grin at you being enamoured of handwashing pants 😁, if it saves you having to do a big wash, it's a viable way forward.

No sadly it was already at maximum renewals. It was actually quite beneficial to go this morning, I remembered the self service library in the local uni library. So I went there and stopped in b and m on the way which is also completely forgotten about.

Great you got a basic shop+treats in.

And you've paid for the electrician. All good

Took myself off to a hotel for the night, with discount it was £18. Not too shabby. Couldn't cope with all the to dos and projects and here there and everywheres. So a hotel stay and a mini holiday from responsibility was definitely needed. Bought a bunch of food without thinking about price. Had a glorious shower (average unless you don't have a shower) and then got up for a walk on the beach. Just caught the sunrise over the sea.

The break did help me get some thoughts down on paper and break the seal on job applications. I don't think I'll get the job I applied for but I did need to just start.

Bought an air fryer on Amazon only to get an email saying we shall send you a delivery date 🤷 as far as I'm concerned, Amazon does only one thing well and that is convenience. No delivery date is not convenient. So I cancelled it and went to an actual shop to buy one. It was nicer and at least you know it's going to not be rubbish

I like the sound of your mini holiday.

I had a delivery from the big river that kept updating with different delivery dates - at one point it was well into this year despite being ordered around last October. It was coconut milk and I think it was shipped from the far east. Then all of a sudden it was delivered a mere matter of weeks after the order. Odd, but if I ever do that again, I'll know not to bank on it. As it is, a certain supermarket now gives me a better price and N3ctar points.

I've never had an air fryer, but I've been tempted. Enjoy yours!

Looks like I'm going on my holidays this morning rolling around a suitcase when in fact it is full of toy trains and wooden train tracks 🤣

Getting the bus at 5.52 am is proving to be delightful. It was late and now we are stopped as the bus driver is new and the printer isn't working. Luckily there is another driver on the bus who has helped.

The air fryer has now joined the corner of doom. I have a layout now in the Room That Has To Be Everything. But it is not working in it's current iteration and needs some thought.
