I am admiring my shiny voucher too - happy days! :-)

  • Yay the voucher was not a scam 🤣🤣🤣 Makes all the angry glares in Sainsbugs worth it.

Currently in Morrisons eating a disappointing scone.

Made myself do laundry last night so all the clothes are washed anyway. Taking the towels etc to sisters today because that was a faff I didn't need yesterday. Managing my tasks in small bites, applied second coat on precisely a quarter of the wall. Then removed one square of plaster from a different wall. Using my brain against itself by leaving things in such a way that I can see the next thing that needs to be done.

Managed to walk into a cast iron railing yesterday and now have a bruise on my upper arm.

Picked a fridge now have to motivate myself to interact with another one to help me collect it.

  • Fridge bought, due to be collected tomorrow because I am not paying £30 for delivery.

    Yay to the fridge!

I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

  • And it's back.

Heard an odd crunching noise this morning as a car manoeuvred and thought, I hope that's not snow. Looked out the window five minutes ago...

Come back rain all is forgiven.

Not sure how snow will affect the plans I had made for today, the warning is moderate (also an indication of it's usefulness 🤣). I do not want to go anywhere too far away in case it is necessary to walk back.

Fridge has been plugged in and seems to be working. It cannot stay where it is as the room temp is too cold.

Some mulling over to be done. Dang snow f**king up my plans

It's cold enough for snow here but we have clear sky. Just a reminder that that really is a thing…

Nice to have the fridge working!

Thanks for mentioning about the room temperature affecting the fridge, I just learned something from you. :)

  • It says between 16 and 23 degrees apparently. They do put suitable for outbuildings as a filter option if you need something for a cold place. Which I must admit I forgot all about.

Can't quite believe I'm back in boots again Cherry. To add insult to injury the sun is shining brightly

  • A day trodding about in snow has not done me any favours although thankfully I managed to keep upright. Currently waiting for an appointment with an advanced practitioner. Logged an e consult at 9.10, got a phone call at 9.30 giving me an appointment at 15.45.
