Dispatches from the bog: dry ground has been sighted. Maintain a hold on your equilibrium.
Finished typing that last sentence, looked at the ground only to see a lovely glob of spit 🤣
Accosted a fellow delivery man in a lift and demanded he tell me if his job was any good🤦♂️
This morning's goal is to make sure I do not go home from work hungry. To this end I have ignored the food I have in my house and am on my way to Sainsbury's.

Goal for today partially achieved. I wasn't starving when I got home. I was hungry but ate the food that was left in my lunch bag. 7/10 I'll score myself on that one.
Started the painting of the kitchen wall. Most of it is actually finished (relatively speaking) but some of the polyfilla was still squidgy so I couldn't sand it. And it is patchy in parts so will need a touch up anyway tomorrow. Slightly tempted to turn it into a study/living room space instead now.

I believe the issue is that I either want several different things in the one location or I want nothing at all 🤦♂️
Spent the morning having a wander around town. Did attempt the charity furniture shop but was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff they had in there today. Ended up wandering to the maritime museum to visit the drawing desk I love in there.
It was one of those days where I ended up reading in bed for the entire afternoon. Interspersed with looking at furniture and not making decisions on any of it. Needed the rest but frustrating when I want to get things done.

Reading in bed all afternoon was probably just what you needed, you work so hard that your body and soul need some down-time.
Regarding what you use spaces for, a starting point might be to identify that favourite place that you want to be kitchen, living room, etc. If it's just one place that you can't decide between uses, you could make that the place where you spend most time. Chances are you like to for a good reason, whether that's the light or the view or a feature of the room or something else. Of course that might change seasonally, just to complicate matters.
