Calories are wandering looking for an owner and they find one in me 🤷

Everything that can be put away has been put away in preparation for the electrician tomorrow. I feel like I'll go to work and when I come home it will be like magic. I realise this is not the case.

I still need to buy an acid reflux pillow as I am currently feeling the pain again. I did ask about changing my hours at work but I am not hopeful. I may go completely the other way and ask to go full time at least then I'd have an organised schedule.

ETA: it turns out I am not eligible to buy extra annual leave. Something that was not mentioned in the manual.

I don't think you need to worry too much about calories with your job

Well done for being realistic about electrician but it's still very exciting progress!

Good that you have options re work hours 😁

Might be more hassle than you feel its worth but if that's something available to others that you weren't informed didn't apply to you, could be worth re-querying it at next level up…

Do you get any medication for your reflux? And do you know if there's anything particular that sets it off? My worst culprits are flour, chocolate and coffee, which admittedly is not good news.

Here's to coming home to a house with great electrics! It may not be magic, but it will make things easier and you've earned it.

Sadly no PiP the upper level is the UK Government with their pesky minimum wage legislation. I can't avail of the benefit because it would put me below the legal minimum.

I think at the moment Cherry it is just the consequences of imbalanced eating. I worked too much and in quite a stressed state over Christmas so eating was all over the place. I have the OTC medication and slowly working my way up food wise.

Have also managed to develop sore teeth thanks to acid and the cold I had last week. This survival mode is not for the faint of heart.

Have spent the morning clearing and now looking at an empty space. And a number of DIY tasks 🤣 It never ceases to amaze me how one task leads to seven.
