What do you mean by 'lost access to'? Is it meant to be a common login for this and your new account, but when you log in you an only see the new one?SJMALBA said:I opened this account, my first with Shawbrook, without any difficulties - quick, easy, straightforward.
I have, however, lost access to their esavings - it worked fine to begin with, but now... I guess I'll have to phone them, which is not something I look forward to.
I can no longer login - it seemingly accepts the Customer No. (CN) & Password (P), as it sends the OTP, but when entered, it says 'Unable to process request because The customer number or password you have entered is not valid. Please try again'.
The CN & P are correct/worked previously, but not now; I tried resetting the P, which again sends the OTP, but then the same message as above.Seems strange that it would send the OTP in the first place if if believes the supplied information to be incorrect, but that’s what’s happening?0 -
Did you maybe get sent a new customer number when you opened the new account?SJMALBA said:Ultrasonic said:

Oh, sorry, totally misunderstood you there! I thought you were saying you had a pre-existing esavings account that you'd lost access to.SJMALBA said:Ultrasonic said:

No, first-time Shawbrook customer; access was fine to begin with, multiple logins without issue, then could no longer login - apologies for any confusion.

I tested myself before replying above and with the wrong password I don't get as far as being sent the OTP. So another issue here by the sound of it.ranciduk said:Caps Lock?!0 -
There are some logins that wait until all stages of the login are entered before pointing out you've got something wrong, but I've just tested Shawbrook by entering the wrong pw, and as you assumed, it doesn't send the OTP. Just shows the message: "The user information or password you have entered is not valid. If you need to reset your password please click Forgotten Password link". I didn't try entering the wrong CN as if that's wrong I assume it wouldn't know where to send the OTP.SJMALBA said:Ultrasonic said:

Short of other suggestions, it looks like some time on the phone coming up.
