And it doesn't tell you why, either.
I suspect you may have found the cause.
Damn! I'll have to give them a call, and see what can be done... 🙁

Do you have to pledge, up front, how much you're going to deposit, over and above the minimum, or is it an open window of time (7 days?) to add as much as you want?2 -
Opened!! I'll send a test payment first, and then a further balance. I'm assuming as the rate is currently showing a 0%, its because it has to be at least £1000 before it starts earning interest.
They have some very odd security questions!!!!How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)1 -
Is it OK that their bank name isn't being recognised by Lloyds? Should I put Shawbrook Bank Ltd as payee?
I've double checked the details. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
I used my own name to deposit my funds with Shawbrook.
You won't see your test payment until Monday.1 -

if I recall, I also made a test payment of £1 and once that went through and showed up in the account (they usually send a confirmation text and email that an online document is available on the account (a rather formal letter in pdf format that also confirms the transaction) .Then you can top up daily up to your nominated account's daily faster payments limit.1
