OH has destroyed the new summerhouse doors.. I am furious.. I told him to leave it until today when my practical braincells could help.. but oh no.. typical idiot man behaviour ( there are sometimes sensible man moments.. but this was not one of them) .. instead of planing off the outside of the 2 doors to even them up and make them fit (like a proper qualified joiner would... ) he planed where they meet in the middle so they just look a god-almighty mess... raging.. after all that saving and getting the grant I am having to buy new doors before it is even built because he couldn't just wait!... He counts screws and reads instructions but haasn't a practicla thought in his head.
Anyway... I have emailed to get a price for replacement doors... with anger.
Today he is mincing the bush and bathing children and I might let him hack up some of the dead shed to take to tip on Monday.. if he so much as looks at the summerhouse he is going to the tip too!! He is putting the massive box of books on a shelf too or I will freecycle them.. I am so mad!Laundry shufflerage clean of the kitchenDWTDBed sheets already changed before we came down so they can be first to be washed.
and this evening I am finishing knitting the orange stripe of the rainbow blanket.

Helping DD2 complete tax return via FaceTime, she's gone off to find her landlords details. This is going to take some time, not got to the bit about money yet! Why does she not put papers away?
Trying very VERY hard to remain patient as I know she will break and there will be tears.9 -
Oh no Pigpen could they be salvaged as Kaz says? Hope there is a solution x
Lovely weekend away, anxiety has been constantly hovering and I almost had a panic attack in the middle of the night, not even sure what brought it on. Work is going to be stressful this week but just 6 weeks until we go away again!
Most of the stuff we brought back has been put away. One load of washing in, have some cycling kit to wash too. Going to try and enjoy the rest of my Sunday now. See you all on the new thread.
