I have Made An Effort…
dusted upstairs
vacuumed same plus the actual stairs
tidied out a bedroom drawer and found a few bits of flingage (swim hat welded to the drawer base anyone??). I think my tankini days are well and truly past, but that was one flingage step too far for today.
washed a dressing gown and a couple of fleeces
packed DH off to his beerfest
pottered in the gh.
Just making an egg sandwich, ‘cos I like them and I’m home alone, then I aspire to plant the sweetpeas in the garden. Need to uncover the frame first from rampant honeysuckle.Glad that Sweetie is making signs of perking up, Round 😘7 -
Flew like a mad woman this morning as part of the house was being visited (the person buying from us is a developer and splitting it). Whole house hoovered and floors mopped. Bathroom cleaned. Everywhere tidied properly. I must say it was the kick up the **** we needed to get it looking as good as in the photos again.
Had a walk whilst visitors around

Round.. We are re-re-re-re-rewatching Merlin with Squeak.. she loves it.. that makes us laugh too.. I can't even remember the number of times I have watched some of my favourite films.

I need to nip to wool shop to collect my bargains on Monday and make OH a dentist appointmnt as he has just broken a very filled tooth.. I can do it now I have an actual reason.
We have sorted some books and now have about 30 Pratchett books to fling.. and I need to find a lot of shelf space.

pigpen said:Narco I tested positive for 19 days, DD1 and OH were 14 days and 11 days was the shortest time for any of us (Squeak and Pixie) DS1 tested positive for 12 days then got it for the 4th time 8 weeks later! There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. I hope he is soon back on his feet though
Took a decongestant tablet before doing an online assessment this afternoon so just about got through it.
Continued trying to catch up with the potting-on of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and melons in the greenhouse.
The pair of ducks which often turn up at our pond at the far end of the garden wandered right up to the bird feeder by the house today then sat and went to sleep on the lawn! Yesterday one was on the neighbour's flat kitchen roof right next to my study.
Hope Sweetie improves.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.6 -

Good morning xx
Sweetie is pootling about quite happily today and would like to thank everyone who sent him flylady love yesterday ❤
I'm up, made my bed, and savoured my first brew. Which isn't much considering that I came down at 7.15 am. My name is Round and I am addicted to playing 10x10. 🥴
I did have a time of reflection from 6.15 to 7.15 - not planned just happened to last for an hour. I wish I could record my thoughts as they're thunk- not by writing them down, or even speaking them- as both processes would interrupt the thinkflow - I guess it would need an alien device implanted in my brain. Not sure there's any alien device equipped to handle my thought tangles.
Fantasy (Authentic?) Round is peeping over the parapet and has lots of ideas of how she would like the house (life?) to be. And she has told me that if I continue to sit and do nothing but eat it won't be long before that's all I'm capable of doing. And she's right. I've been thinking the same myself.
If only you could buy focus and willpower. Ooo I'd like a brimful of confidence too please.
Heyho. Back to reality.
To Do Today
Brew 2 and breakfast
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
WUDUPA
Have a lovely Sunday.

So agree with you Round, I'm full of good intentions but sadly they never get out of me and become reality.
OH is gardening, I'm not doing much as bumper cars net to the house went on until 3am then woke again at 6.30 and I don't function without sleep. I'm randomly sorting through odd things, at least stuff is leaving via CS, recycling or bin.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone8
