Washing pegged out. Cloudy but light breeze, so it can take its chances.
Bleach sploshed down loo. Pots are soaking prior to WUDUPA- waited for P&S to visit so that I can wash their mugs at the same time.

Tomatoes planted in gh border, washing put outside on the airer. Washing dragged back in again 30 minutes later. It’s raining again now, so I’m not faffing with it any more - it is staying indoors. Dw filters washed. Admin caught up on, budget puzzled over - DH has overspent the grocery budget yet again. He has gone out to physio and is supposed to be buying bread on his way home. Let’s see if he manages to come back with just bread this time…
I really ought to clean the bathroom…7 -

I've had a duster in my hand!!!!! Faint! I've dusted the hearth, and then encumbered it with owls, candles and a photo of DS.
There is a plan formulating in my brain to drop off a bag of books at the cs while I am in town on Wednesday afternoon. I'll be fine when I've done it once - not been into town since before covid, and I keep stalling but my desire to get rid of cs stuff is growing, and eventually the balance will tip and I'll go.

Hi everyone, I have been in and out for quite a while now and thought I might dip my toe into the comments bit. Thank you for the threads, I don't always follow them to the letter but they give me a jumping off point
I love reading about what you are all doing, I am boring and other than gardening and crochet/knitting not much excitement here to relate sorry .

The day started with Mr N testing positive. Curses. He rang the rheumatologist to cancel the 6-month-waited-for appt on Wed and was given one for 29 June. Checked calendar. Nope, we have tickets for the wildflowers in the tower moat and the royal photographs. Rang back 6 July. If that means he can't ride his motorbike till then, he will not be impressed to put it mildly. Other than that, he is just tired with a bit of a cotton-wool head, so after the last 2 yrs of me worrying endlessly that he, being vulnerable, just must not catch Covid, seems he is doing far better than me. At least that's good. Also good is that we can stop sitting at opposite ends of the lounge wearing masks/taking turns to use the kitchen/sleeping apart/having practically every window open in the house.
Flying has merely comprised:
- 1 load through DW
- 1 load washing done
- changed bedlinen in main bedroom
- checked and sent off a report.
- emailed uni to say I wouldn't be in this week. This poxy thing is so variable, I currently haven't the strength or mental capacity to work out if I will actually HAVE the strength and mental capacity to do the 2 assessments booked. That leaves me with one report to write. I have so far opened the template and typed the student's name on it.
Er no I don't think I've achieved anything else. Oh yes, trawled around on the web for lateral flow tests as we have 3 left. I should be able to add them to Mr T order tomorrow (heartily glad I booked a delivery slot 'just in case' yesterday).
Slept a lot. Answered a lot of messages. Read a bit. Coughed and wheezed more than I'm happy with. Bored of it all now. Next decision will be needed re. my brother's 60th present next Mon - we were meeting him and SIL at the theatre.
Oh well enough thinking.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Started the third stripe of the rainbow blanket.. it is looking very bright!
Did you get the washing in before the mad downpour Round? Assuming of course it hit your side of the sludge anyway!

Today's lisy (kitchen) done - even bleached my dishcloth.
I've also done the bathroom as, in my mind, they go together.
Having sis and possibly bil round for posh nosh on Saturday so I need a clean house.
