Hoping someone is coming to get the girls beds today, so we have got out all the different parts and accessories. They are beds that can be high, low, medium, bunks and have a desk, curtains to make a wendy house etc. All wiped down ready to go

I've actually achieved quite a lot, very slowly by going through all my 'flagged' emails; there were over 25 and now there are 3 which need to be acted on at some stage but not urgently. So I have watched webinars, made notes, looked up links and done surveys (work related).
Checked greenhouse but not gardened as it has rained much of the day, which is good in many ways.
Think I will give the lake swimming a miss tomorrow.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok and those with Covid are improving.
I've had a very busy week so have not posted or flown but I'm now off work for nearly three weeks.
Today Littleydog is going to the vet and I'm having an afternoon with friends at the sports field weather permitting.
Anything else will be a bonus.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all xx
I've had an ok week at work and attended my mammogram appointment on Wednesday. Happy to arrive home last night and relax into the weekend
I was up at 7 this morning because I thought it was 8 but I wanted a brew so I stayed up. I've had two brews and eaten breakfast. I brought down the laundry hamper but I've not done anything with it yet. My bed is made.
Back later.

Oh my, Sweetie is not well again. And my budgie man is right this minute sat at the airport waiting to board a flight to Jersey for the week.
I've put the heating on for half an hour ....because I usually feel cold when I'm not well. So maybe Sweetie does too?
Worrying won't help- me or Sweetie, so I'm going to breathe and:
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
WUDUPA x 1
And 🙏 that my little mate picks up and is his usual cheeky self again soon.

Morning all,
For a 3 day working week, I feel like I packed in the workload. I was looking forward to a good night’s sleep last night, but spent restless hours in the WAC, so am washed out this morning and - worse - really annoyed at myself.
DH is out from lunchtime, I am the taxi that will bring him and his friends home at a time yet to be specified. I did volunteer, to be fair. He is on the verge of making a momentous decision about retirement, so is really stressed. More so than usual.
I haven’t got plans, other than the taxi run, for the day. I’m not feeling the pull of the allotment, I might go into the garden later instead and see if I can actually get a fork into the ground after all the rain. I have a few sweetpeas that need planting.
Like Round, my washing bin has been looked at and pondered, but the wm is not actually running as yet. I feel that today might well be a day of aspirations and postponements, and that will be followed by frustration this evening when I realise just what I haven’t done.
Hugs to all poorlies, love to all xx6 -
Narco I tested positive for 19 days, DD1 and OH were 14 days and 11 days was the shortest time for any of us (Squeak and Pixie) DS1 tested positive for 12 days then got it for the 4th time 8 weeks later! There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. I hope he is soon back on his feet though
Socks and we are away to dance class.
I am having this front room tidied today.. and I am not doing it! My stuff is piled in a messy heap in one corner and neatly in 1 box..
OH is putting the roof felt on the summerhouse and the doors if there is time.. if not that will be done tomorrow.

Hello again. Hope Sweetie is ok Round.
All dailies are done, I sorted banking, hoovered through, walked the dogs, put away dry washing from three days ago and took Littleydog to the vet. We now have a long term plan to deal with her arthritis.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Round, I hope Sweetie perks up soon x
I had a very productive evening yesterday - cleared away lots of papers, sorted washing, started WMx1 of 3, loaded and ran the DW and even sat down with an hour for a coffee.
Today's aspirations:
- pay the vicar's expenses
- breakfast, shower and dress
- do WM x2 more and hang it all out
- do a bit more filing
- order printer paper
- ring my eldest goddaughter [tried at 9.00 but apparently she is helping a lame sheep!]
- deliver parcel to neighbour
- decide which type of debit/credit card reader we need for church and send an email about it to the standing committee
- plant up pots and water in.
I am too easily distracted by what's available in the Jungle store

Thank you Jazee and iona xx Sweetie has finally had a little drink, come to sit on his favourite perch, and gone to sleep. I'm hoping that means that he's feeling a bit better. I'll rest easier when he's eaten something and chirped at me.
Another magazine to declutter now methinks.
Oh a bit of a preen going on - must be feeling better than he was. I do love my little bird ❤
