Hi lovely ladies

Sorry I’ve been a bit awol. Life has taken a busy turn (but in a good way). I am managing to keep on top of the basics and have said no more animals for now as I’m just so short on time.

Slinky is non existent and in my next life I’d really like to come back as a man please... that sums up the rant I would otherwise have posted.

NARCO - please free to PM me your address if you need tests I have quite a few to spare.

I’m going to have a brew, eat cake and have half an hour alone time before the 6am call of DS.

Narco I was really worried about DS catching it and when he did he didnt have symptoms!  Hope OH is OK and you stay clear x

DS2 rang up today - he never ever rings me.  Had a nice catch up then spent the rest of the afternoon fretting about why he had rung and trying to figure out some hidden message in the phone call that means there is a problem that he cant tell me about.  My poor anxious brain.

Other than that work was busy, had a very unsatisfactory conversation with a colleague where I didnt put my point across very well and then got stressed about it afterwards.

One load of washing in to hang out tomorrow, bed is made but thats about it, oh but finance spreadsheets are up to date.

Well tomorrow is another day.  I was going to cycle in but there are roadworks which means a detour and 10 miles each way instead of 4.5 miles.  Will see how I feel in the morning.

No downpour here piggers. The sun was shining when I brought the washing in, and it's still dry, though overcast now.

I'm bleaching my dishcloth too Valli - must be the day for it 😊

Sunday was crazily busy and ended with me taking the first dose of my new meds - the one about which the DR had warned me that I definitely would get pounding headaches.  Well, no headache, but a really grotty feeling all day yesterday which meant that I spent a lot of time asleep and couldn't clear as much stuff off my list as I'd aspired to.  However, the grottiness wore off in the evening so I did manage to get to the first proper meeting in 2 years of the Old Wives.  It was good to see friends all together again and catch up on the (very minimal) news.  

Today I aspire to
- sort out something for tea tonight
- do some more church admin
- phone the bank
- run my study group
- buy some bedding plants for the pots on the decking
- put some beans into soak before planting
- walk Rosie
Anything else will be a bonus.

Narco weirdly my DH didn't even know he had Covid this time around when he caught it, but I was the one that suffered with it. I've come to the conclusion it's the chemo have that are kicking the virus into touch...lol

I'm still packing up the house..slowly getting there. But it's a very long process. But now we have sorted out mother in law's house and we only have to get the furniture, we want, delivered to us and ours thrown out. Then the keys will be handed over to the estate agents for the new owners, whoever they will be. So thankfully that's something we can stop worrying about now and concentrate on our house and 😁 finally making it market ready 🙂

Valli hope you are doing ok hon, and glad the Dr has signed you off.

Morning all,
Just finishing my first cuppa then I’ll get at it. Been awake for hours, read a bit of my book, then decided that enough was enough. DH been at his desk now for an hour already.
Hair cut booked for later, but road closures (for 3 months!) mean that the alternative route is on a notoriously busy road so I’m stressing about that already.
Before then, I need to sort out a load for the wm, do something to clean and freshen the cooker extractor, maybe hang yesterday's damp washing outside as it looks like it might not rain here today.
One of our many pigeon residents has had a baby pigeon, and it seems to have inherited its parents prolific pooping abilities, especially all over our patio and down one side of my car. Yuk.
First jobs - get dressed and change bedding.
Narc0 - I hope you and Mr N are on the mend.
