Didn't get anywhere with appeal to landowner - council involved kept me waiting 3 weeks to advise not their land & referred case back to leisure group who manage the land. Leisure group think they've done me a favour getting PPC to drop their fake £70 add on & suggest I pay the £100 & referred me back to solicitor. So gone with the "see you in court" approach....but now discovering that "seeing" anyone in a Manchester court is unlikely & worried that PPC who may previously have discontinued the claim may now be encouraged to have case heard on papers0

Manchester court seem to have sussed out PPCs and has previously proved to be a graveyard for them. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So question is do I stick with hearing at Mcr, likely on papers, or push for F2F at an alternative who may not have sussed out PPCs? Which is solicitor/PPC less likely to favour (assuming crappy solicitor puts any thought into this)1 -

The pilot scheme only applies to claims filed after 1st June, not ongoing cases already in hand.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update for anyone following my case: having responded to LBC beginning of June disputing claim & basically saying take me to court, I've today received an email from Sadstones repeating the "offence" & requesting £170 payment by 13/10/2022 otherwise yet again legal action MAY be taken.
Do I ignore or send a brief response repeating see you in court so I can't be accused of not engaging in process (just in case it does go to court)? And perhaps request they stop harassing me?0 -
No just await the court claim2

Just looked at the "evidence pack" they've sent with email. It's just the photos of car & letters that PPC have issued previously. Also an aerial shot of the land with parking signs circled. There is a circle indicating a sign which was definitely not there on the day I parked. That sign has been put up since! Presume the onus is on me to prove they're lying?0

You require them to prove that the sign was there. That sign map probably has no provenance - no date, no witness name etc.Jenni x1
